Well this is a nice surprise! I just woke up to a lot of email letting me know that Nokia has debuted a brand new full length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. There's some great new footage here, check it out!

I told myself no more, that I could wait one month with no news so anticipation would be at an all time high for myself for this film, and I lasted the whole day after seeing that this was out this morning but I finally cracked after reading some comments and boy was it worth it. Bane is such a bad, bade dude and I can't wait till people have their minds blown (in IMAX!) by Tom Hardy's performance. Cannot wait for this film, definitely the best trailer I've seen so far

I wonder if the Killer Croc will be in this movie? and Victor Zsasz? I know Zsasz was in the first one briefly. My hopes are high for an expansion of the Scarecrow's character. I would be cool if the Scarecrow uses his fear gas on Batman before a brawl with Bane. I heard Nolan wanted to make a horror movie, and I believe the Scarecrow could allow that in the Batman movies. Plus, I felt like they lightly tapped the Scarecrow's potential.

Okay last comment, seriously, when Bane catches Bats fist he measures the amount of force Bats exerted, then calculatates what his present physical condition is....then kicks his a** down the...whatever they are fighting on, and procedes to bring the pain to Batman.

Last warning....
There's a lot of plot spoilers in the children's activity books based on the movie. (Why they make children's books on a PG-13 movie: $$$) Commissioner Gordon stumbles on a plan to destroy Gotham City. He leads his police force in a street battle with Bane's men. Gordon suffers an injury. Batman makes his first appearance at Gordon's hospital window. Batman needs to know how to find Bane. Gordon has information about the whereabouts of Bane and his underground camp beneath Gotham. The "Deshi Basra" chant is the League of Shadows operating in Gotham's Underground spearheaded by their leader: Bane Rising out of the underground to overtake Gotham's upper class. Bane locks up the wealthy including Wayne. Bane's legion of followers grows with the prison outbreak, encouraging to take what you please: Liberation. With nothing to stand in his way, Bane rules Gotham, and is about to spread...the federal government declares Gotham City a No Man's Land/martial law. Bridges are taken out and the National Guard troops are stationed to control the perimeter. The CIA was right to keep tabs on this terrorist leader Bane, he has the capacity to overthrow the government.

There's a clear sequence in all the trailers, catwoman leads batman to bane in that tunnel or under sewers, bane left batman seriously injured and catwoman regrets

0 likesI have the same excitement for this film that I felt 23 years ago, while eating a Bat-taco, and waiting for the 11:45 showing of Burtons Bat-man movie at Northland mall cinema in Columbus, Ohio. I am 38 and my wife and kids are baffled by my fanaticism. Their loss. Bane appeared 4 years later in Knightfall, and well, my wish has been granted. Dreams do come true. Nolan made this movie for us. 250 million dollars(wow)LATER and he is giving us this beautiful movie,after 2 that are(IMO)THE BEST CB movies ever made he followed up perfectly. Avengers was good, but right now it is ALL ABOUT THE DARK KNIGHT RISES!!

Ok so I think the first encouter is at city hall wich ends in a draw. The second encounter is in the batcave ( sewers) where bane found out bruce is the bats. Bane beats down batman, imprisons him. Bruce trains and escapes to win the third fight.

There should be a animated lego version of this trailer.Haven't seen a single Nokia in this trailer, now that's what I call product placement!
This movie is almost 3hours long, and we have seen only the tip of the iceberg!
How the heck Nolan can keep the plot under wraps is amazing in itself.
His resume is Memento, Prestige, Batman Begins, Inception, The Dark Knight, and it's time to campaign so he gets a Academy of Motion Picture award for best director in The Dark Knight Rises.This summer, you will forget about Spider-man, you will forget about the Summer Olympics, you will forget about the presidential election, but you will remember, oh yes you will, THE FIRE RISES!!
