The first Superman trailer has been announced and will debut on Thursday.
You can hear a sample of the theme in the teaser above that shares some tones with the 1978 John Williams theme.
No specific time has been announced as of yet as to what time the trailer will debut, but typically, they are released earlier in the morning.
Superman will serve as the first live-action entry expressly made for the new DCU. In addition so seeing Superman, the fill will include the first appearances of Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Cat Grant, Steve Lombard, Lex Luthor, Eve Teschmacher, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, the Engineer, and Krypto the Superdog. Some rumors have indicated we will also see the first appearance of Supergirl, who is set to be played by Milly Alcock. She will then appear in her own film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
Superman has wrapped initial photography and is preparing for a couple of days of pickup shots.
The cast of Superman is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer , Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher MacDonald as Ron Troupe, and Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard.
Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
