But he's known for not killing. It's one of the things that causes him pain. It's a huge part of his conflict with Red Hood, for instance. I don't think he should kill.

Well, considering in the movie world you can't have every villain alive cause you have to bring a new villain in the next movie, I would say it doesn't count if he kills or not, but how it is handled. That's why nobody complained about Dent, but everyone complained about the in-your-face and direct death of Zod.

I think so if it fits. It would most likely be dealt with offscreen or without much focus, like cap shooting the aliens in the avengers.
The reason i think many people reacted so negatively was the fact that zod was a main villain and not just a henchman. In most superhero movies, the heroes kill people/things, but it is dealt with offhandedly rather than as the main focus. Which is why i doubt people would react as strongly if it were aliens that were not so humanoid.
People really did lose their shit at that point and for no reason. At least in BB Bruce has a reason not to kill because he holds justice most high not revenge. MOS did nothing to show why supes won't kill so I am fine with it. Besides killing Zod can factor as a reason to create a no kill rule unless when absolutely necessary of course

Of course he did . Or did he ? Ra's could have still jumped off and survived in a coma or something (not difficult for screenwriters to come up with some crazy idea or directly factor the Lazarus pits if they went that route ). Still I see it as a moment where Ra's accepted his fate (he did screw up the brakes so he sealed his fate at that moment making it a suicide mission just as Talia's mission of flying out changed at the end moment). That scene still baffles me .
Well he does simply blast the likes of Parademons with explosive Batarangs, so I guess so. He has also killed animals when necessary, which seems to indicate his "no kill" policy applies only to humans (and other more human-like species).

If Disney didn't buy Marvel, Marvel would have gone bankrupt or more likely been purchased by Fox or Sony or some media-conglomerate we've never even heard of. Could have been better, but probably would have been way worse. The MCU would probably be much more X-Men and Fantastic Four-centric (if Fox had bought Marvel outright).
I think we'd still have the same level of interest in comic book movies as we do now. Remember, that was building up since the first X-Men and Spider-man movies and then the Dark Knight Trilogy. Someone would have filled the void if Disney hadn't.
The tone might be different, and we probably wouldn't have a bunch of fanboys insisting that comic book movies should follow the letter of the out-dated comic code that the industry spent so long fighting against and overcoming both artistically and commercially.

Yeah, there isn't even a Joker or a Carrie Kelley Robin in BvS while they had big roles in Frank Miller's TDKR.
I don't really think Bruce would let him go without training that easily . And there's still Alfred , Fox and Gordon to help him out on his crusade. Blake was a cop, I expect him to have a little hand to hand training, and Blake won't be that much of a foll to jump immediately, or rather the others wouldn't let him do it .

Interesting, but could be anything. Most obvious answer is that there's a crew member with a similar jawline to Affleck. It wouldn't make sense for Affleck to just be hanging around on set for a scene he's not in, unless his behind the scenes role in the DCCU is larger than we thought.

But one of the hallmarks of the MCU is the complete lack of tension. These movies go out of there way to deflate any sense of tension, whether it's the reliance on deus ex machina and mind-control plot devices or the near-constant one-liners, especially in action scenes.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Clearly it's working from a commercial standpoint, just not satisfying for me as an audience member.
Why would they want actual tension between Tony and Steve, when they can just invent some sort of random coincidence or case of mistaken identity that allows the heroes to engage in conflict, without actually having to suffer any consequences or make any choices that might confuse or alienate mainstream audiences and small children. That way, at the end of the movie, the heroes can just laugh off the conflict and move forward as if nothing happened, rather than actually have to take an actual stand or recognize that we live in a world where even the greatest of heroes can disagree about serious issues.

That's what i was thinking for a very long time, i was like if Marvel had closing credits, why can't DC have opening credits like Watchmen.
I don't think it will have any opening credits like Watchmen, but I do think the movie will open up with Bruce Wayne in Metropolis at the time of the Zod invasion. Just picture Bruce sitting at a meeting or something and shit starts to go down.
Actually this movie is set to take place 1 or 2 years after MoS so a opening credits like Watchmen would come in handy to explain what happened in that time period in a pretty quick way. Considering we are hearing rumors that MoS lead to a sudden increase in meta human population and the entire world government collectively scratching their heads.
I think BvS starts with a retired Bats who after 10 years meets another Robin named Carrie Kelley.
I have been consistently hearing rumors and reports that said Jena Malone is playing Barbara Gordon and not Carrie Kelly. And this Batman will be like 44 years old in the movie so he's not Dark Knight Returns level of oldie yet.
Those rumours are false cause i haven't seen an article on Babs but a lot on Carrie Kelley on You Tube. Btw. Babs isn't part of Frank Miller's TDKR.
Barbara not being a part of TDKR doesn't mean she won't be in the movie and Carrie being a part of TDKR doesn't mean she will be in the movie, because adaptations doesn't work that way.
Zack Snyder said in an interview that BvS is heavily influenced by BTDKR where Carrie Kelley and Bats were the main characters. If she's Babs then probably she will be Oracle but we are still in the dark here about Jena Malone's role, she isn't even officially confirmed that she's in the movie.
Well Jena Malone is in the movie for sure there's no doubt about that but frankly speaking Oracle/Barbara brings more to the table in the current DCCU than what Carrie Kelly can bring.

A few days later she appeared on her Instagram where she was sporting a cartoon-esque red hairdo accompanied with the words: Drastic times call for drastic measures. This is telling me that she dropped us a hint. You may find out yourself what this means.

Can you PLEASE stop insisting on your Carrie Kelley / Jena Malone theory? None of us really know how the movie will begin, and for sure we don't know if Carrie is going to be part of BvS. Aren't you insisting on the fact that Carrie will be on the film? Not to mention you are already giving the role to Jena Malone. And we still don't know if the retired Bats thing is true, until it´s confirmed is just a rumor like any other.
Bats is retired maybe for 10 years after the killing of Jason Todd by the Joker cause rumour has it that he might appear in BvS in a flash back scene and Malone isn't officially confirmed but i believe THR and Variety if they say she's in it cause they're quite reliable sources in general. From deduction and logic i say she's in it playing a redheaded character.

It would be cool if the satellite Superman destroyed was working as some sort of spy satellite to track down the Joker, and when it got destroyed, it lead to him eluding Batman and eventually killing Jason Todd. Thus all giving Bruce a reason to hate Superman.
Fan theories like this are one of the reasons why I have heart palpitations. Primarily because a JaredJoker appearance in BvS would literally have me crying tears of joy.
