This ART looks great. Very similar to some of the comic book images that we all have seen. I like that both characters get their shots in! LET'S GET READY TO RUUMMBBLE!
P.S: I'm still never going to support eh maybe, he just hears things and runs with them consistently. Asa Butterfield is Spider-Man! Then multiple trade reporters say that other actors are still in the running. That's called lying eh maybe.
P.S: Is this art for merchandising? Does anyone know?
Yeah, it looks like art from an action figure blister package.
Nice. That makes sense.
Thanks!
Oh, I just meant that's the impression I get from the style. I'm not sure what they're using it for beyond concept art.
Cheers man! I appreciate the kind responses.
You keep saying that about him, yet he's broken several stories (admittedly and confirmed by other sources), and I'd say he's been right most of the time.
He was wrong about Joe Manganiello. The actor even said he wasn't in talks for Deathstroke. No need to lie from his part since it already didn't work out. So bullshit.
He said there would be a Planet Hulk film while Ruffalo stated recently that Marvel can't even make another Hulk film without another studio, Universal, which has the rights to solo Hulk films. Pretty sure Universal has no interest and eh maybe never mentioned that deal-breaker, which means he doesn't know shit about the inner-workings of the studios. So bullshit.
Said that Bale would return as Batman. Bale later confirmed that he was never even approached. Again, no reason to lie from the actor's standpoint. So bullshit.
Said that Chris Pine would be Green Lantern TWICE. Back in 2009, it was bullshit. Thus far in 2015, it hasn't come true.
Said that Asa Butterfield has the role of Spider-Man. NOT confirmed. Multiple trades have said that other actors are still testing.
The guy makes shit up. At best, he just releases information without checking any real sources because he probably doesn't have any reliable ones. The trades have debunked him multiple times. Sure, he gets 1 out of 10 correct but that's not good enough for me. He has not been right most of the time. He has some promo art of Batman v Superman. Cool. I still wouldn't trust any of his "scoops." Check out Hollywood Reporter, they have real scoops every single day. Just my opinion of course. And no offense man, you can believe him if you'd like. :)
No offense taken; I don't care that much. I'm just saying the nature of the business is rumor and hearsay. Just because Manganiello as DS or Bale as DCCU Batman didn't happen doesn't mean it wasn't talked about. Negotiations sometimes fall through at the very end; just because it didn't get solidified doesn't mean there was nothing to the rumor.
Perhaps that's true, but like I said, I don't trust eh maybe. Never will again.
Then you'd be wrong. He is wrong more times than he is right and his track record only weakens as time goes on
He's wrong most of the time, but when he is right... all of his supporters try to rub it in everyone's faces that he is someone to always be trusted.
This.
#1 looks familiar...
Hilarious.
Superman's face when he's feeling them necks
Ohmygosh are you the real Dill Pickles?!? Dawg you were my favorite homie in Da Rugrats.
I'm coming to the rescue:
You ain't Frank Miller though...
But Batgirl wasn't even in Frank Miller's TDKR but i hope that Jena Malone's role would be either Babs Gordon or Carrie Kelley who was in BTDKR:
Ehh I can't agree with you on that one. For me, Carrie's presence in TKDR was unnecessary and unsolicited especially in the colossal sequence of events that is a Batman-Superman showdown.
Based on Jena dying her hair red un-coincidentally at the same time of filming for BvS, I can bet a Zod snapped neck that Carrie's Robin will be in this movie.
I completely disagree with you cause she was a good help to this older Bats in BTDKR but i hope you're right about that Jena is in it as Carrie Kelley Robin.
Really? A 15 year old helping one of the greatest superheroes of all time seems a bit patronizing to Batman's esteem to me, but to each their own. A Nightwing helping an aging Batman is what I'd personally prefer, but the Frank Miller storyline is flawless nonetheless
My question is, is Jena Malone in the movie or not according to you? and btw. i still disagree with you about Carrie Kelley's character and she was a strong character in the New 52 universe.
This has been discussed somewhere farther along down this comment thread, but Jena Malone's unconfirmed role and involvement in BvS is akin to the secrecy surrounding Jason Momoa's Aquaman. Chris has posted some solid articles on this website about how there's a more than solid chance Malone is playing Carrie Kelly, just based on her confirmed but unknown role on set, dying her short blonde bob red, among other things.
Also, I'm slowly getting back into New 52 stuff (the initial shock scarred me), so I'd love to read the issues where Carrie character developed a little more
So according to you Jena Malone is in BvS probably playing Carrie Kelley being Robin or not, we don't know yet but Babs Gordon is completely out of the game to you? Btw. Scoot McNairy's and Callan Mulvey's roles are also still secret.
That's what should happen. Anything else is unrealistic.
Awww yeah! Honoring that Batman #612 🙌🏻
Heredare the mirrors ;)
Uh-oh, Superman just can't stop snapping necks.
It's getting closer and closer. The anticipation for this movie is so damn high!
I'm riding the hype train all the way to March 25, 2016.
Oops, wrong comment. Fixed.
Oh me too. Every little piece of info on this movie gets me so damn excited!!!
The screams for the trailer roll right before AOU was louder than anything during the actual movie.
The hype for BvS alone will push this movie into the billions. Easy.
And. Here. We..... GO
BTW, Supes suit looks a little different. AWESOME!
Uncanny.

I have no idea if this is good or bad but if it makes Amell cry some more then that's great! Guy kept whining about not being included in the cinematic universe.
Hey, Amell's a cool guy, give him a break. He openly supports the DCCU but wanted to be involved and probably will be one day if they do Crisis- can you blame him for being a bit disappointed? Either way he's helming the DC TV universe and he's said multiple times he's ecstatic about that. He doesn't NEED to say it, you can tell.
I prefer the universes separate, but he's not just a whining fanboy about the universes being separate, he's sticking up for his very talented friend and costar who he thought could pull off being Flash in a movie. Give him a break, and please watch some of his Q and As and whatnot before suggesting he's ever whined about not being included. Seriously, "if it makes Amell cry then that's great," and then you call him a whiner? Think what you want of him, that's being petty.
Amell isn't a cool guy, he's THE cool guy.
I wouldn't say that. His first season's acting has been stronger than Amell's and he's got several movies lined up as big roles, it won't be too long before he leads one.
For sure, but Amell's lining up for that kind of thing and Grant's very popular. When you've got people who honestly cannot act in movies great TV actors helming a very popular TV series like Grant aren't long shots, certainly enough of a chance to not use "never."
Flaws with your post:
- Ignoring acclaim and praise for his acting on Flash.
- Acting as if TV is somehow the medium for weaker actors nowadays, and if you honestly think that you really need to pay more attention to the industry.
- And above all pretending you know what his future holds. I'm from the future, not you.
Maybe B-List but that's a Longshot
He played the game pretty well though. Almost 18 months ago, he posted a picture of the Justice League on his facebook page and got his fans all riled up. Then when asked about Justice League, he said that he would love to be in it. When DC and WB announced that the two universes would be separate, he threw a hissy fit. He said the DCTU didn't need the movies and then said he wouldn't want to be in Justice League because he didn't want to undercut his show.
Yes, I'm sure you wouldn't want to be in a 200 million dollar production that will be seen by over 50 million people worldwide. He lost me with his antics. I know all actors pull them but I felt that was very disingenuous of him. Just IMO of course.
Fans made all these memes of the Justice League, and they were good. Meant nothing more than the AOS crossover ones he's posted. He's always said he didn't want to abandon Arrow, you would know that if you knew more about the guy (not a personal attack, but it's pretty clear, honestly, you don't). He wanted to be in the movie from day one, but he said from back then too if that meant sacrificing the show, which is his life and love, then no. Criticising of his employers who he constantly thanks isn't a 'hissy fit,' and it's a fanboy mentality to think otherwise. He wasn't whining, his comments were valid.
I think you must have read my post wrong if you think he WOULDN'T want to be in that movie. He would be, but if it comes with such sacrifices, Arrow is really his life. I think you underestimate how much he loves it. It's all very well to have that opinion, but don't base it on such mentalities and mistaken notions is all. It's fine not to like the guy, but suggesting 'if it makes him cry that makes me happy' is a bit petty, don't you think?
Perhaps it is a bit petty but that's just how I feel about the guy or how I perceived his behaviour. The image I was speaking about was an old Justice League cover with Green Arrow on it. It wasn't fanart, so he was obviously very interested in being in the film.
I agree.
Thanks mate. It's just how I feel. It was so annoying hearing "news" from him. He was obviously trying to stir the pot so to speak.
Oh and these are Arrow's ratings for its third season finale.
CW Arrow (8-9:03PM) - Season Finale
1.0 rating
2.83 million viewers
None of the actors deserve to be anywhere near the DCCU. Both WB and DC know this.
Ratings are fine and all but I'm of the honest opinion they don't show quality- same as box office, or masterpieces wouldn't make quiet box offices and jokes like Transformers 4 big box office numbers. The Arrow finale was a letdown imo and the writing was off, but that wasn't the fault of the actors.
True, I just mean that there aren't THAT many people clamoring for them to appear in the films.
Just my opinion man. No hard feelings.
Of course! This is the one place in the internet we can disagree with each other without restoring to slurs and getting upset over disagreement, Stephen's just a great guy who's a great inspiration to me, not gonna lie, so I'm bound to defend him haha.
That's awesome! Yes, I appreciate your kind responses.
Hooray!
... now to wait for (hopefully) Hal Jordan reveal...
That's what I'm hanging out for.
My only concern with Barry is that the internet doesn't cope well with change or multiple versions, but the internet's just gonna have to deal with it.
But but he's blue
Such ripoffs
Please no John Stewart
Ya I so badly want a name for Hal Jordan .
Oh lord hold my hand. I trust this guys will make the best comic book movie ever. Really.
(Kool-Aid style) OH YEAH
I would have liked to see Wally, but I'm fine with Barry. I know Ezra will be great no matter what!
So barry allen flash = hal jordan gl
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
"I want you to remember Bruce, in all the years to come, in all your private moments, with my hand on your throat, I want you to remember the one man who beat you." -Superman in BvS.
XD, I can already feel the cries of Batman fans all over the world.
That's how it starts. The fever. The rage. The feeling of powerlessness. That turns good men... cruel.
F**ing awesome!
Could be imagining it, and I wish I hadn't noticed it because I don't want to spoil anything too important for myself, but don't Batman's eyes look green in the second? ... Kryptonite confirmed?
I don't believe so, just the regular lens that was shown in the trailer. I can't imagine Bruce would put something that is potentially radioactive so close to his eyes.
Gotcha, thanks for clearing that up!
Kryptonite is possible though. Somehow Superman has to lose a portion of his power.
Yeah that's true. I also wonder, based on that shot in the trailer of Superman holding what appears to be a Russian missile, how faithful to Frank Miller certain aspects of the story will be. Because that has ramifications for Superman's powers, too.
I'd be surprised if it wasn't in the movie
Besides that you were emailed the photos by someone as well, is there another way you know that these photos are in fact genuine?
I don't think these are real anymore. It's also bad enough that it's El Loco Nacho Mayimbe Grande.
Looks like concept art so the could be real.
I'm pretty sure Mayimbe is getting these from that guy at "Blu-ray forums" doe. He said he got his hands on the BvS artbook or something like that
I don't think it is because of how closely they resemble it. It's very possible that somebody went off those images in Photoshop and used a couple of art programs to make these. I'll assume that much until WB confirms/denies it.
On the note of Gonzales/El Mayimbe, has anyone noticed he openly refers to himself and his fans as "fanboys," ignoring the fact that word is deliberately loaded with negative connotations and doesn't actually mean the same thing as 'fans?'
The guy's not only unreliable he's kinda ignorant about this industry.I'm glad he's supplying us with this but him "breaking" the Joker photos by reposting them is getting old, as well as all of his "reliable sources'" scoops about things which are getting constantly disproved, he takes a lot of credit for a lot of things which aren't necessarily his alone and I'm growing tired of his constant Kevin Fiege worship and his "BOOMS" when he posts, but that's just personal dislike I guess.
Also he breaks things that were rumored months back. Like Doomsday. I think the guy just makes guesses most the time to remain relevant.
Exactly, I think Doomsday was like a year ago too and I thought Latino Review was one of those 'rumour' mongers back then.
He's alright with casting but I think he honestly just throws out so many ideas for stories with plausible and obvious scenes in some that he then says "my scoop was right" when he gets one obvious thing right out of a hundred misses.
Agreed. To call him a theorist would be more accurate than 'journalist.'
Hell yes!
To call him bullshit would be more accurate than theorist
It looks like Convergence Superman, nothing like Cavill.
That's cuz it's concept art. And not promo art
But his hair in the film is the traditional look. Why would it being concept/promo art change that?
Which is strange because the first photo resembles him and the art style doesn't seem that different in the second photo. Just completely off with that head.
These actually do look a bit more cartoony and emotive than the other releases like some of you guys have said, plus as has been pointed out these two don't bear that much resemblance to Cavill particularly whereas the others did to Gal, Henry and Ben.
How sure are you that these are real, Chris? The other ones looked real but something about these ones, awesome as they are, feels kinda off in terms of their legitimacy. We'll wait and see.
I would believe they're real if not for these! However it's still very cool and I like it nonetheless! Didn't check to see if someone else posted these, if so, sorry.
What's in my head while watching that promo-art.
-upper promo art-
Batman: take this clark! (punch supes in the face)
-lower promo art-
Superman: stop it. (Have bats neck in his hand)
Batman: just kidding clark, i'm just kidding.
