'The Dark Knight Rises' cast talk show schedule, interviews, and videos

We're less than two weeks away from The Dark Knight Rises and that means the cast will be making appearances on talk shows to promote Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie. I've put together a list of all the upcoming appearances, and I'll be adding more as I find them. If you miss a show, don't worry -- I'll have videos up as soon as possible.     plus here in the UK I've seen Hardy do plenty of talk shows, however, he may be filming at the moment.

    Actually the reason why he isn't doing any press is because he is filming Mad Max: Fury Road. He is currently in Africa. I believe he will be at the NYC Premiere this week.

I've read a lot about Tom Hardy's lack of press. He seems kind of like a shy dude IMO. They say he doesn't really do a lot of press and interviews for whatever reason ( I can't remember exactly)

  He's booked up dude, working, gigs. That's why he couldn't appear at Nolan's Walk of Fame Induction/Ceremony the other day. He's done plenty of press, and happily talked about Bane and TDKR, trust. Youtube it.

I think Nolan requested that Tom Hardy not do any press. Kind of changes how people perceive Bane if some elements from Tom Hardy's interview a day ago bleeds in. Usually, you don't see the actor's that play villains do interviews...none of the actor's that played Bond villains do anyway.

      Ralph Fiennes usually appeared in interviews for Harry Potter, though I guess he was a villain most people were familiar with from past films of the franchise.

      You're right. If villains did interviews we'd forget that they aren't actors which is okay to remember if they are the good guys. Makes soooo much sense, I can't believe how foolish I am to not have realized this before.

  When he does interviews here in the UK,which is hardly any,one last year with Jonathan Ross,Tom nearly ( kind of jokingly) went for him. And this year with Alan Carr. Both time he was very fidgety, scratching back of his head,wiping his nose,or his neck.

  I've been reading "Returns" since a long time again this weekend and was surprised as well to find more similarities than expected between "Rises" and the comic.. "Returns" could even serve as a sequel to "Rises" if taking the synopsis into account -but will it really after seeing the movie? two weeks to go, sitting tight!

Kind of surprised at how much they will be going on television the week before the movie opens. I'd think it would make more sense to be doing that the week it comes out, but you did say there are probably more to add to this list so maybe Christian Bale and Michael Caine will be doing more talk shows opening week. I get a sense that Tom Hardy won't be doing too much of those this time around.

DKR artistic fans. These would make for epic refrigerator magnets...or tattoos. So excited to witness movie history in a few days!! Bringing some chalk to mark the ground with little bat symbols while waiting in line....it's going to be a long line.

I was just watching Batman Begins (again!) and noticed, what seems like a mistake in the writing. When Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham after his training with LoS and appears in court to witness Joe Chill's hearing (the guy who murdered Bruce's parents), Joe's attorney states that Joe was an exceptionally behaved inmate for the 14 years he was in prison for. Bruce Wayne was about 7 or 8 years old when his parents were killed, which would put him at about 21 or 22 years old during the court hearing. When, Bruce in fact looks at least 30 years old in those scenes. Am I missing something or was this just an oversight by Nolan and crew?

Bruce did his training with the League of Shadows after the court hearings. It was in a flashback scene where Bruce was still in university, presumably Princeton when he appears in court for the hearing.

  Oh ya. I think you're right. Bruce returns to Gotham from LoS for the hearing, then heads back to LoS after the verdict. He even tells Racheal and Alfred that he's not staying in Gotham.

    No you are wrong again. He doesn't "stop" his time with the LoS for the hearing. That is just a complete flashback before any of the first scenes with the LoS happens. That is back when he is in college at Princeton and comes for the hearing. Long before the LoS happens.

he might say there's no particular bond between real world events and TDKR. The fact is that the movie is about revolution (politcal, social, economical and beliefs) and civil war. So there's a bon that people will make for sure.
And that's really amazing that the most democratical country (but also the most controversial) in the world is making a movie about that. hats off Mr Nolan!
