I'm not sure if you're still checking your twitter Chris so I'll post this here
That is excellent, thank you! I haven't been checking Twitter... I'm trying to stay far away from Twitter, email, and even the comment sections here until Monday night!
I don't blame you. You're a lucky man getting to see it early
Is it possible that they could have spoiled the ending or big plot point? If they did I'm pissed and never watching the today show again
No one cares you little man child.
Did the Today Show/Morgan Freeman just give out a huge spoiler???
A Robin movie? Ugh. Obviously, it just personal opinion, but I've always grown annoyed with his involvement. Even as a kid. Be it the show, the comics and, of course, the movies. I think Robin waters down everything. Even when they tried to make his story tougher, etc. just my two cents, however. To each their own.
Why are you guys insisting on understanding things where there aren't. He clearly said Not the last Batman movie of course, but the last from C. Nolan. About the Robin thing... well... whatever they wanna do... If you're infatuated with the IDEA (crazy IDEA) that John Blake turns into whatever, then yes... you will consider it a spoiler based on your own criteria... Truth is... he DID NOT give away or spoiled anything.
Amen brother. People are annoying me. Just see my comment above haha. Everyone is just trying real hard to find spoilers where none exist. Seriously, calm down people and just enjoy all the press and hype as we lead up to Thursday. Cause once its here, then its all over. No more Batman hype for several years.
Sad but true. No more Batman live action movies for who knows how long. Not cool. :/
OK, Today show better not have given away that, or is she just speculating? seems like she saw the movie and is talking to freeman about a certain spinoff, or seems like there might be and Freeman said "SEEMS THAT WAY"!!! IF true i think WB should be extremely upset as am I!! as that might have given away the ending along with Dave,
Ok seriously why are people trying to see something that ISN'T there! After the Letterman and this interview the comment sections are in an outcry saying major spoilers have been given away. Tell me this. What did they Today show just spoil? Do you know the ending? Do you know for sure JGL is Robin? Do you know who lives and who dies? No! There have been plenty of spin-offs for quite some time in movie history and I bet you anything they mentioned that because the lack of Robin in these movies is giving the industry a reason for a spin-off. I think everyone is forgetting one key fact here. Nolan and Bale said they would NEVER sign on for another Batman film if Robin was in it. STOP SEEING SPOILERS WHERE NONE EXIST!!!!
*sigh of relief*
I know man. And its just going to get worse as the days go on. I'm glad there is someone on here who has a level head.
There's a few more around lol
ok, after watching it again, obviously letterman was joking. and for the Today show I think she was being Serious about the spin-off as it SEEMS, being a key word. so she(talk show host) is getting the impression there could be a spin-off? I pray that it doesnt turn out that way, BUT as its not 100% and probably just her speculation(everyone in the mother thinks JGL will be ROBIN) nobody can say it was spoiled. Just go in with an open mind and if its true, well you can see how Nolan does it and what happens.
"You don´t wanna miss it!"
GOD has spoken!
First reviews arriving... TDKR is full success 5/5 in all of them!
Lol well it depends. Who are the reviews from. Smaller websites? Or people like Roger Ebert, New York Times, LA Times, etc.?
show it to me, I can't find any review or critic from renowned sites yet
i found some reviews on imbd.com already that should help u out
Links?
It's finally here! The day most theaters get their hands on the humongous 600lbs IMAX reel. Once the manager gets the video/audio synced and ready to play...my phone should be ringing later tonight for early screening with friends/families of staff. Like the Black Eyed Peas song: "I Got a Feeling...that tonight's gonna be a good night."
Then on July19th, watching it again, the midnight showing with the general public. Based on early reviews, this movie is better than BB and TDK...can't wait to see public reaction to this.
You lucky bastard.
cool, we'll be waiting for your non spoilerish review soon
Hey, Just wanted to say. You guys have made the wait for this film a little easier ... I know, hard to believe but it definitely helped. These past few years have been amazing, exhilarating and tormenting all at the same time. The debates and of the like have also been great.-Thank you to all the trolls aswell. Also, want to thank Chris for making the BEST site for everything Batman, you have done a great job and I will be a permanent user until the end. - I will be going caming for the week but coming out of exile on thursday to witness this cinematic masterpiece that is 'The Dark Knight Rises'. - I will be back on Friday morning (thursday following into friday) I hope people will be on here to comment on what they though ... if no one is on here I will assume you have died. - Take it easy until then, Decrep
I agree 100%. I'm so glad to have been apart of this community. A lot of people don't really recognize me or anything cause only for the past 2-3 weeks have I started to comment but I have been on this site reading people's comments and following the news stories for the past two years. I've been like a ghost haha. I spent as much time on this site as probably most people I just never really made an account or anything. I now wish I did. Would have made the wait even more fun to be a consistent commenter. Oh well. Thank you Chris for this wonderful site.
In Chris We Trust!!!!!
Yeah I was the same way, I've been visiting this site just as long but decided to start commenting several months ago. Wish I would have started sooner, but I'm just glad that I decided to start commenting in the first place. This website has made what would have been a long, drawn-out wait into a memorable and fun experience.
Cheers!
