The Dark Knight Rises wrapped up in Pittsburgh today. The actors and crew arrived to the city in late July, and we've seen quite a bit of The Dark Knight Rises this past month. Christopher Nolan placed an ad in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, thanking the city of Pittsburgh. Thanks to Yurka from the Superhero Hype forums we have a scan. Here's a huge list of the news to come out of the Pittsburgh shoot:
Now Nolan and crew are off to Los Angeles, where they'll be doing some studio work, as well as on location shooting. After that, they'll finish up The Dark Knight Rises this fall in New York.

I agree. Notice how almost all of the spy footage came from one person who had pretty high quality equipment. It's hard to believe there weren't others taking video. Team Nolan had to know someone was going to film the outdoor scenes. So they beat them to the punch. Notice how the footage we've seen doesn't really give away a lot. Yes, we learn that Bane has Tumblers of his own and that Selina rides the Batpod. But now people are just filling the blanks with guesses. Nolan accomplished his mission, which is to make headlines for a movie that won't come our for another year.

Sorry, but I have to disagree 100% with this. Yes, it's cool to see something new every now and then to keep the excitement up, but this guy (or girl) took it WAY too far. It seems like every single day there was something new on this site, and it was to the point where this was just one big spoiler site because of him. There's a difference between news and flat out spoilers, and this person crossed it, big time. I'm sure everyone here is going to disagree, but that's just my personal opinion.

Fair comment , but no one forces you to watch or look at Spoilers , Everything was clearly marked on the site , so it was your choice , but i know what your saying , in hind sight i wish i had the strength not to look at The Bat Wing , but i am weak = )

wow.. they really didnt get much done in a month to be honest:P they filmed a couple scenes outside of the "city hall". there was a big fight. catwoman makes an appearance. they filmed a football scene with bane. they drove around the city in tumblers and had batman chase him in his batwing.

Yeah, they are a bunch of lazy asses, they should wrap the entire movie in 3 weeks or so and releasing it in the Fall...

haha calm down man.. obviously i know large movies like this take time. which is why theyve been filming all summer and will continue to film into november. all i said is im suprised with the amount of time it takes to film just a few scenes! gonna be awesome cant wait!

I´ve seen enough of the film by now. I really hope they can at least keep the cave set free from prying eyes. Damn, 2012 is long way ahead of us, I really hope in December we can get our Christmas gift: the trailer.

Thank you to those who brought the film to Pittsburgh! I can't believe they were here. From the announcement in April to the bat signal to the press conference with Christian and all the filming--so much excitement for 'Burgh bat fans. Another Heinz Field extra here. Being a paid two-day extra was the highlight of the year! I'm sad to see Mr. Nolan and crew depart and I can't wait to see it in IMAX!
