In a new interview, Isabela Merced discusses the casting process to join Superman as Hawkgirl, and what filming was like on set.

Talking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast discussed a bit of what it was like being cast in Superman as well as what the filming process was like.

First up she discussed how efficent the set seemed to her, as well as how much she enjoyed Nathan Fillion's take on Guy Gardner.

She also went a bit into what her casting process was like to land the role of Hawkgirl.

The cast of Superman is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, and María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer.

Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
