James Gunn has shared a new look at Superman's crest as he marks one year until the release of the new film.
Gunn took to social media on Thursday and said, "In exactly one year #superman opens all over the world." He then followed this with a new look at the Superman crest that will be used in the film.
The crest has already been seen in various photos, but this is the clearest straight-on look we've had of it yet. If this version of the symbol has a second meaning is not known as of yet.
Filming on the film continues in Cleveland, Ohio which is doubling for Metropolis.
The cast of Superman is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, and María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer.
Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
