There has been a lot of Superman set photos hitting social media showing off what we can expect from Metropolis in the new film.
Crews have been spending the week transforming Cleveland into Metropolis ahead of filming in the city.
The Daily Planet offices got a globe above the front doors.
And in case you're wondering if it will have a globe on the top of the building, this banner for the City of Metropolis does show a building with a globe on top.
Some rubble was spotted in the streets.
We've also learned Metropolis is in Delaware thanks to a flag flying above a set. This has been established in the comics in an atlas of the DC universe published years ago, but it looks as though it will carry over to the new films as well.
One of the things you have to love about set decoration are the tiny details you'll never see. Both the Daily Planet and Metropolis Eagle have newspaper machines on the street. If you zoom in on the Daily Planet you'll see there's a story "by Clark Kent" and the photo of Superman stopping the train is credited to Jimmy Olsen. Neither of those details will ever be picked out on screen, but still fun to know they exist.
The cast is set to include David Corenswet as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. They will all be joined by Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, and María Gabriela de Faría as the Engineer.
Superman will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
