'Aquaman' toys give first look at Black Manta and Jason Momoa's new classic costume

San Diego Comic-Con is less than two weeks away, and Aquaman toys appear to have leaked out a little earlier courtesy of a DC Collectibles YouTube channel.

The upcoming collectibles give us our first look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in his full Black Manta costume. We also get to see Jason Momoa in the classic comic book Aquaman costume that was rumored for the movie (and confirmed in a Batman News report). Lastly, we get another look at Amber Heard's Mera costume as well. Get a 360 degree look at the new costumes in the videos below.

Update: The images have been removed at DC's request. They're still all over Twitter and Instagram if you missed them.

Update 07/18/18: The Aquaman DC Collectibles were officially revealed at San Diego Comic-Con today. Check out some official press photos in the gallery below.

So good! Hmmm... from the looks of the trident he holds and some of the behind the scenes photos with the two of them in some ancient ruins with a map, maybe they are trying to find the true Poseidon’s Trident? Either way, HYPE!!!!!! :D

Super psyched to see Jason wearing that armor in the actual movie!
Does Mera get an upgrade too? I see her suit is more of a silvery blue here than teal. Looks awesome.

    For me, it just comes down to how Jason Momoa's hair jives with this costume.
    I trust them to make the costume itself look awesome in the film, hopefully with a dim but reflective effect like Henry's suit.

    I feel you man. Comic book costumes are very vibrant (which works for their medium) but sometimes it may not translate well into movies. I'm somewhat excited and also kind of scared about Aquamans costume being brought into live-action. But we'll see.

      If they nailed Superman, they can do it for Aquaman. Just keep tonally consistent with the feel of Henry's suit and it should be fine.

Amazing costume but Momoa looks silly in it. It's like Lobo tried on Aquaman's suit

The Black Manta suit has thrusters on the back and even on the legs. It must be practically indestructible and hermetic up to the subatomic scale! I like it and imagine it will look brutal when officially shown 👍
On the other hand, I'm sure AquaYisus will look just as imposing, even wearing his classic suit that many find it ridiculous to see him in a live-action...

    I wasn't going to express my feeling of dislike for the classic suit on this article, as I already have done so previously. But I feel like I need add some insight after reading your comment. And if it's meant to be taken humorously, then I'm sorry, don't pay attention to me.
    I started reading comics only a few years ago. So I can only be considered as a mere peasant in the comic realm. But they've become the fuel to my soul. Since I laid my eyes on the classic costume in the comics, I disliked it. And I still think it has no business being in a modern comic book. But that's just my opinion.

Sweet! Black Manta is looking pretty awesome!
Not so sure about everything else, though, including that trident... But I’ll hold off judgment until I see the real things. These are just toy figures, after all.

Aquaman's and Mera's costumes look so shiny! I hope it will look just as shiny in the movie.
But I fear it would look goofy for Aquaman, since so far, we only see photos of female characters wearing those bright, shiny outfits. I hope it works for the male characters too.

  It all looks goofy, including on the women, especially when stood next to the much more believable and tone-appropriate and real looking armor they have shown us Aquaman and Ocean Master wear at another point in the movie, and the stuff all the Atlanteans wear in the Justice League movie. I’m just hoping it all comes together in a way that can actually be taken seriously by the time the movie is released somehow.

  That version of Aquaman is not only from a very recent book, but echoes a recurring (reCurrying? heheh) portrayal over the years. He rocks the kingly 'Jesus' look sometimes, and people mostly seem to love it.
  I'm one of those people who wanted Superman to resurrect with a beard and a mullet though.
  At any rate, at least he doesn't have the hook hand, dude. haha

    People gave Tom Hardy's Bane a lot of crap for not being comic accurate too. They wanted the luchador motif and stereotypical Mexican accent (despite the fact that he's half British and Brazilian, not Mexican). Many also wanted him to balloon up into the popular cartoony roid rage mode.
    Those superficial elements led whiners to say it wasn't really Bane. Personally, I consider it a classy improvement with some missed potential.

AWESOME, bringing back the real DC in DCEU movies, really looking forward to this! Hopefully Momoa has at least a few more dirty blonde streaks in his hair. :P

  Very true But I gotta be honest, with the classic costume on, I’m seeing Momoa less and less and Aquaman more and more. A similar thing happened when they started advertising WW and her costume got brighter and brighter. You are also seeing her sword and shield less and less while seeing her lasso more and more. 😃

I’m so excited for this movie. I DO wish Momoa was a tad more blond, but it’s not going to ruin the movie or character for me.
