'Wonder Woman' and 'Justice League Part 1' filming locations and schedule revealed

on 'Wonder Woman' and 'Justice League Part 1' filming locations and schedule revealed

Collider is back with their final video interview with DCEU producer Charles Roven. This time they talked about when and where Wonder Woman and Justice League Part 1 will be shooting.

Roven confirmed that Wonder Woman will begin shooting at the end of November -- that's just a week or two away! Most of the movie will be shot in the UK, but they're also going to Italy.

Justice League Part 1 will also be shot in the UK, and the cameras will start rolling in the first or second quarter of 2016.

But the most interesting part of the interview was when Roven confirmed that Justice League Part 1 and Part 2 will not be filmed back-to-back.

        Thank you Chris! Do you wonder why Warner and DC decided to shoot Justice League in Europe and not in Michigan and Chicago like Batman v Superman?

          Tax reasons I think. Our friend and photographer Bananadoc told me that Michigan is no longer offering big tax breaks to movie studios.

        No, back-to-back means one single production. WW and JL will be separate, with a different crew working on each movie. Though JL will start shortly after WW wraps up.

      Actually, that reminds me that shooting primarily in London likely means that they won't shoot at the real Hall of Justice in Cincinnati. Damn; I was hoping to see that happen (even if I live nowhere near Ohio).

    Really glad Collider did this interview or we'd have no DC news for days lol. This also confirmed that WW will start filming in ending december and not this month. Really hope we get some casting announcements soon.

    I REALLY REALLY hope Mera and Black Adam appear in Justice League Part 1. I CANNOT believe the lack of Wonder Woman casting news so far. WTF is going on?! It's as if Gadot, Pine, and Kidman, are going to be the only "humans" in the movie, and the only people speaking.

      Dwayne said he'd be appearing as Black Adam sooner than we might anticipate. i.e. before Shazam, which means, JL1.
      You know, I wouldn't mind it at all if the threat isn't Brainiac or another alien coming to conquer/destory Earth. Like some sort of conspiracy or something. I know that doesn't scream massive action right away, but done well, it sure as hell can be. Not to forget that Snyder will probably use IMAX a lot (he better) and the fact that it is the fucking Justice League on screen who are all incredibly powerful. It's going to be GLORIOUS, can't wait for them to kick-off principal photography because that means we get our first official look at the Justice League together for the first time!

        Now to go see if anyone has "proven" that Wonder Woman and Catwoman are the same person, and that Gal Gadot is going to play a crazy person who has the "real" Wonder Woman in the person of Anne Hathaway locked in a secret basement.

    Isn't it know that it wont be back to back ever since that same guy said the movies are all a continuation of the others? I believe he said Wonder Woman will not be an origin story as probably no DC movie will, and she, like the story, will be evolved from BvS.

    Makes me think... If Ares succeeds and (idk), begins World War 3, that can be the JL creating event.
