am i really the only one that realised the film will most likely feature Bane's connection with the league of shadows, it's not that Ra's and Bane are the same person, it's that Bane works for the league of shadows (he does in the comics), that would also explain the young Ra's and Talia appearance

My opinion now after 4 trailers + exclusive MTV footage is Catwoman learns later in the film of Batmans identity only after "two timing" Mr. Wayne. This is when the "adjustable" nature of Miss Kyle comes into play. She comes to Bruces aid in the end versus totally fucking him over from the start. or at least I'd like to think so. hAH!

Ya ive noticed that myself and the part where Ban says "Mr. Wayne might not be at the fight it could be after when he is talking to Bruce in the cell and they have their conversation that we have seen segments from in the trailers

I think what Nolan is doing is setting everyone up for a total surprise. Everyone keeps talking about Batman/Bruce dying, JGL becoming Batman/Azrael/Robin. I'm starting to think that none of that will happen. What if JGL is a crooked cop or out to get Gordon? Fox or Alfred dies? Also we haven't seen anything of "Miranda Tate." We are in for a treat

0 likesGreat find.. But in my opinion h is just a cop. Since mainly Nolan said he would not have Robin in this story its about Batman and Bruce Wayne.. And if you look at all the trailers he is out during the day as the cop and at night in the latest trailer when the Bat lifts off you can see him and the other officers staring up at the Bat and he looks like he is in awe. So all the people who have said its him in the bat they are wrong cause he was watching it lift off So all the speculation about JGL character is valid and good fun but in the long run he is just a badass cop doing more than the GPD wants him to. But regardless of the outcome of his character this movie will prevail in every way possible cant wait JULY 20th

People are reading way, way, way too much into the whole John Blake thing. It's literally gotten out of control. I want to say this whole Blake - Robin - Azarel - Nightwing speculation BS started over at BOF -- similar to how the whole Hugo Strange - Robin Williams BS started a few months back.
I've heard nothing but crap and rumors started over the years at BOF like how that little kid in Batman Begins, who Batman flips those radar glasses to in the narrows was going to be Robin, then I heard how Anthony Michael Hall's character was "secretly" the Riddler in TDK -- because his character was just "too mysterious" to ignore and Mr. Reese was secretly black mask or Robin. I heard all that BS and speculation over and over again until it came out to be nothing more than pure garbage. JGL character is the exact same argument wrapped in the same context --- it's NOTHING!
The guy is a beat cop picking up where Gordon left off. That's it. What do you really think is going to happen, Bruce dies saving the city and JGL moves into Wayne Manor and take up the cowl the next day? Seriously? You think that's Nolan's style? That might work in the Marvel Universe but don't expect to see some cheesy out of place ending like that with Nolan. An ending with JGL as Batman would erupt speculation over "Batman Beyond" and future sequels and in no way does that "conclude" the trilogy and leave you with a feeling of "closure"...think about it.

This was indeed the best trailer to date, calling it epic is an understatement, the soundtrack is beyond amazing, although it sounds a bit too much like Inception(great score also)...
Main notes from this trailer:
Bane knows Batman is Bruce Wayne; although they sometimes make some tweaks with the dialogue I´m positive tha Bane calls him Mr. Wayne during the first round. Infact it´s interesting to think if at that time Selina knew that information already or was caught by surprise when she heard Bane call Batman "Mr. Wayne" hence helping her turning sides...
The guy falling down the water seems indeed goold old Commissioner Gordon. Now we have a better idea of the beat up he had probably faced with no Batman to give him a hand. Gordon´s pain will certainly fuel Bruce´s rage to take back Gotham...

sounds like Inception...exactly what I was thinking.
The first notes when the credits are shown, the horns...looks like all of this and the "chants" thing are reserved for the trailers only, aren't they ?
to me this theme emboidies what this movie is about, the climax of Bat's quest, the conclusion, the weigh of the trilogy itself...it just SOUNDS like it...it's epic and teak-inducing like hell...and it doesn't sound like what the samples of the OST show, whatever good it sounds.

With such epic proportions, i guess there's no chance for DiCaprio as the riddler or some dude as the penguin in future sequels, but C'mon.. This can't be the last Batman Movie.. We finally know how to ake Good Batman Movies, We can't stop here.. Time for the Batman Franchise to Rise where as the last one failed miserably and died a pathetic death =)

If Batman's voice ends up being as horrible as it was in 'The Dark Knight', then it is not going to bode well for the film. Why couldn't Christian Bale use Batman's voice from 'Batman Begins' in 'The Dark Knight'? Good thing this is the last Batman film. In any case, I cannot stand Christian Bale at all (completely due to his temper tantrums). Besides, the Batman films, I haven't seen any other film of Bale's. And the sooner this film releases, the better it is. And the only reason I watch the present Batman films is because Chris Nolan is directing them.
0 likesI think the voice Bale uses when he says "Not everything, not yet" in a few of the TV spots sounds closer to his voice in Batman Begins. I just hope Warner Bros. and Nolan doesn't edit his voice in the final cut. Besides, I understood Bane the first time around. Now it sounds like he has a robot voice, especially when he says "I'm Gotham's reckoning."

This is what I wish would happen in this movie: in bruce waynes absence, JGL should take over as batman with waynes or alfreds permission. When bruce get better and becomes batman again, batman fights bane again. Somehow sometime later in the movie, bane teams up with batman to find banes father King Snake. Bane kills king snake but dies with him. That would be how bane dies. Batman goes back to gotham city and finally tells JGL to take over as batman for good. JGL would be the new batman. MEANWHILE!!! King Snakes body is found and given.... a black ring! This would start the green lantern event Blackest Night. It would also be a play on the titile of the movie " the dark knight rises." This would signify that the DC heroes would eventually come together to become the justice league.

Ok folks. Here's my ten cents: I think we all know Liam Neeson's been confirmed for the film, probably in flashback scenes to explain Bruce's relationship with Talia, but I guaran-dam-tee you Dr Jonathan Scarecrow Crane's in the film too - prob behind all the toxic gas that pushes all the civilians at each other's throats. Cillian Murphy was interviewed on Radio 5 Live last year and was sworn to secrecy on the subject. Also, notice the orange boiler suit Catwoman's wearing is the same as those prisoners breaking out of a complex so I'm sure she's instrumental in the escape. I suspect she turns when she realises Bruce Wayne, her unrequited love, is behind the mask. Finally, I'm guessing JGL's used as a decoy BM while Bruce is incarcerated to rule out Wayne's involvement as The CC.

so....al'guhl tried destroying gotham in batman begins. Bridges are being blown up and bane promises gothams reckoning. We also know Talia al'guhl is a character and Liam Neeson was caught on set...anyone else see my theory forming here?

I just noticed something in Batman Begins even though it was somewhat evident in The Dark Knight. As Cillian Murphy's character Scarecrow rides up on Rachel Dawes and the little boy, on a horse after he says that there is nothing to fear but fear itself he says (I'M HERE TO HELP....) but the fear toxins in the air scares Rachel into feeling that he is a threat to her and the boy causing her to use her stun gun him in his face as he screams in pain while ridding off into the night. So maybe there is something more for him in The Dark Knight Rises
