Two more actors have joined the cast of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow as filming is confirmed to have begun at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in the U.K.

The Hollywood Reporter announced – and was later confirmed by James Gunn via social media – that David Krumholtz (The Santa Clause, Numbers) and Emily Beecham (1899, The Covenant) have joined the cast as Kara Zor-El's parents.

Both the report and Gunn have also confirmed that filming is indeed underway.

Craig Gillespie is directing from a screenplay adaption by Ana Nogueira from Tom King’s 2022 comic series of the same name.

Milly Alcock has been cast as Supergirl, Eve Miller as Ruthye Mary Knolle, Jason Momoa as Lobo, and Matthias Schoenaerts as the villain Krem of the Yellow Hill. Craig Gillespie will be directing.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 26, 2026, just under a year after Superman hits on July 11, 2025.
