DC FanDome is finally here and the show will be kicking off at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern. This year the show will be available in numerous locations and DC has released a list of everywhere you can watch it including in multiple languages.

Also, crazy story... So yesterday we had an article from the Belgian directors talking about Batgirl (which I translated if ppl are interested) and they talked about Batman's inclusion. Then at around 4 am or so, my brother sends me a message. He was at a club in my City. Who was there? One of the directors!! No one really recognized him ofc but my brother did. He walks up to him and they take a selfie and sends it to me. Couldn't believe it at first. I text him how awesome that was, tell my brother to tell him they have to kill it with the Batgirl movie... Then I tell my brother to ask him who's gonna play Batman.. so my brother shows him my messages and he starts laughing at my reaction and excitement, then he sees the "who's gonna be Batman" question, then smirks and nods at my brother and says nothing hahaha. DAMN IT. Thought it was worth the shot. I thought MAYBE he was drunk enough to slip and say something, hehe. But nah, he was not budging. Respect to him.

A Daredevil style Batwoman show could have been amazing, i get we can't get Batman in TV so this would have been a good compromise. Instead they gave us Supergirl but far worse.

Well tbh Netflix' budget management is trash. They could have done the same for at least half the cost.

I don't think so. DD had a very specific look. It's cinematography was gorgeous. It had a lot of practical effects and practical fight choreography. I don't think that could have been achieved on a lower budget.
I do however give it credit for it's brilliant character writing. It's my favorite SH tv show.

We've seen more complex and similarly well shot movies for half the budget. Regardless, the point is that BW could have been so much better.

Oh I wholeheartedly agree that BW could have been a lot better. If Arrow season 1 and 2 had taught me anything its that all these CW shows have a potential to be a lot better.
I was just talking about the visual nature of these shows.

Uuuuuuuuuuggghhhhhh FFS. As an engineer, I am SO SICK of hearing how STEM is not friendly to women. Please... STEM bends over backwards to pander to women because they are so desperate to have more women. Literally no one says girls should not so science and somehow I'm supposed to believe that a fictional character from a D list show "inspires" 18 year old women?? Sorry for ranting but this whole narrative needs to die. Women don't do STEM because they don't choose to. Not because men like me oppress them. What a joke.

Expected a lot more from the Flash teaser. Not that I think it's bad... But they should basically be done shooting already. Last year we had a full blown Batman trailer when they only shot 25% of the movie.

I've only watched the first episode of the show and it's weird that I've enjoyed this reminiscing. Well, maybe not that weird since almost all of them have been part of DC in other ways.

It is and there's a ton of melodrama especially the early seasons. Its very much a CW show and it lacks the budget what the Arrowverse had meaning fight scenes were awful even by CW standards, i will say though the Super Speed stuff was fantastic and captured his speed like no other. I would also say Smallville Clark is one of the most OP versions of Supes by the end.
