A new DC FanDome trailer has arrived showing off teases of footage from The Batman, Black Adam, and more.

The sophomore edition of DC FanDome is just over a week away, and DC has released a second trailer to show some of what we can expect. In the trailer alone we get our first look at Dwayne Johnson filming Black Adam (no official costume reveal yet), a few quick glimpses of new footage from The Batman, and interview shots of Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa working on The Flash and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom respectively.

There's also a quick glimpse of Peacemaker (John Cena) and Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) from the upcoming Peacemaker series.

And, of course, the biggest teases is that there will be a new The Batman trailer released during the event. Seeing as it has been well over a year since the first The Batman trailer, we can't wait to see a new one.

And with the thumbnail for the trailer showing the Flash concept art that was revealed last year, we're hoping that's a hint we will see a lot more from that film as well.

Sprinkled throughout the trailer is also a good-sized sampling of the over 90 guests we can expect to see participating in and hosting the event.

DC FanDome 2021 will take place on Oct. 16. The video will stream on the DC FanDome site, Twitch, and YouTube.

    The more I look at the clips for The Batman the more beautiful it looks.
    If nothing else it will be one beautiful looking movie.( Just like War for the Planet of the Apes, another stunning film from Matt Reeves)

    Incredibly hyped for the trailer.

      I'm hyped for the trailer, too. I saw Reeves' Planet of the Apes films because I was curious about the special effects. I didn't expect it to be an emotional experience, but it was. He's a great director. I can't wait to see what he does with The Batman.

        This is exactly why I'm so hyped for The Batman and have so much confidence in Matt Reeves.

        Not only did I love his previous films.(Cloverfield and Let Me In, both were excellent).
        I never thought anyone could make a movie about talking apes as thematically deep, emotionally investing, well acted, intense and entertaining as Matt Reeves did. ( Yes, I know the original film is very famous but it never worked on an emotional level for me).

        For me, Matt Reeves pulled of a miracle. Twice. And so I'll never doubt him again.

        Who? If you mean Jingo then yeah. That's the reason I blocked him. I couldn't deal with his negativity anymore.

        I mean it's no secret that I like Snyder's DC films. But I've never claimed to like nothing besides them.
        I've professed on this site many times that Zack Snyder is not even in my top 10 favorite directors. And I've literally got only 1 of his dc films in my top 5 Superhero films, and even that is on number 5. I've got 3 Marvel films above it.

        So I don't know why anyone would disagree when I say that I'm absolutely hyped for a new Superhero film about my favorite comic book characters from one of my most anticipated directors.
        My only dream now is to perhaps one day get a SH film by Denis Villeneuve and photographed by the legendary Roger Deakins.

          I don't have any issues myself with him as we get along but i just find it so petty and immature now that he downvotes you and Ninja with every post you both make. Its got to that point now where he should either just let it go or block you both.

        I downvote him because, yeah, I guess I am petty, but I still remember the way he acted for the first few months he was on the site, and the lies he was telling.

        I don't think he's changed.

        I wonder if Seb still feels the same way about him, even if he isn't petty enough to downvote him.

        Way I see it, a downvote is no effort at all, like none, but knowing it upsets him even slightly - worth it.

          I took it down until I can launch the redesign. I thought it looked bad being stagnant. Good news though, it's going to be ready for FanDome, an I've still been writing reviews and articles just not keeping them published.

          After FanDome since I won't have to work on the site and will only be writing stuff, it will be much easier to stay current, and additionally around December I'll be hiring at least 2 writers to write for the site, so there should be a lot more content each day.

            Thanks man! Yeah, I'm really proud of it. I have it looking amazing at every resolution/device, and I keep testing but pretty consistently I have it loading in a third of a second. Since it's going to be such a good user experience I expect it to start really taking off.

            As for my enemies? If ninja is willing to admit to and apologize for his past behavior I'm willing to give him a chance. I don't think I have any other enemies...they were all temporary accounts just here to troll for snyder, like tibz, kingkiller and that furher guy. I don't think they would be interested anyway lol.

            I was hoping for a 6-10 minute preview, but if they knock it out of park with 2+ minutes of excellence, I’ll be happy.

            6 - 10 minutes might be a bit much, although we might get something like that closer to release. I'll be happy with the trailer and a few other short scenes, and I'm sure at the least we'll get one with Penguin and one with Selina.

    Only a week to go. Can't wait to see the New Batman trailer. It is the mouthwash us Batman fans still sorely need to wash a lingering bad taste away.

      I wonder if the second trailer will be longer? Was the first trailer technically a teaser?

      One thing I dislike about modern trailers is all the quick, rapid fire cuts. I'd almost prefer to see a short scene rather than a series of three-second flashes.

        The first trailer was created when only 25% of the movie was shot. Now 100% of the movie has been shot and has been in post production for quiet some time.

        So this trailer will definitely be longer and reveal a lot more about the film. Hopefully we will actually get a look at Andy Serkis as Alfred, and better look at what the action in this movie looks like.

            I think you will get your wish. Rob and Zoe seem to be playing a big role in presentation.

            As the action is my only major concern, I hope we get at least one amazing action shot.

      Ive rewatched the first trailer countless times and its brilliant but the costume waa the only iffy thing in it for me particularly the cowl and collar.

        It will be interesting to see if and how they update things. If they show him with white eyes I'm going to lose my mind.

          The white eyes would be the deal clincher for me as well. I know people have their doubts about it translating well on film but i think if done right it could be really awesome.

            White eyes would mean a total suit upgrade that befits a more comic accurate Batman, so I’m 100% on board for that too. The sooner he gets out of ‘SWAT team Batman with Gimp mask’ costume the better.

            I'm hopeful for a suit upgrade but i dont expect to see it before the final act or even a sequel. Onr thing that kinda irks me as well is thst its still early in his career but he operates openly in front of the police apparently. The scene when Gordon gives him the letter has a room full of cops too. For me, especially in his early years, its better to keep his presence and activities shrouded, to build his reputation and increase fear in the criminal underworld. Pet peeve and a possible overreaction from what is essentially a few seconds of footage.

            I agree. I always liked idea of Batman as Urban Myth with no clear photos of him and people arguing whether he’s real or not, meta human or not, more than one person, working for government or a mob enforcer, vampire or boogeyman, etc. Him just walking around in a Halloween costume is kinda a ridiculous sight. Doesn’t help how ugly that costume is either. Hopefully he doesn’t talk much in costume like Keaton. We heard enough growling lisp soliloquies In Nolan’s trilogy.

            100% agree. If his aim is to promote fear and uncertainty among criminals then he should have minimal actual contact with anyone, including Gordon initially. I want him to operate in the shadows and be a seemingly unstoppable force of nature.

            I have never understood the arguments against it.

            People claim that they need to see the actors eyes, which is nonsense. He has plenty of time with the cowl off, and as Batman not seeing his eyes is the point because it's meant to hide his humanity and help him scare criminals.

            Not to mention we have plenty of amazing performances from people whose eyes were obscured.

    Oh man am i excited for this event! I am looking forward to The Batman trailer as much as anybody but all cards on the table, I'm more excited to see footage from The Flash. I've so many questions about that movie it would be nice to have some of them cleared up.

    My biggest hope is that the event in general is a huge success and not an underwhelming mess.

      I agree. The Flash has most weight on it and is biggest question mark so it’s the film I’m most anticipating/concerned about. I feel like I have a pretty decent grasp of what Reeves’ first film will be and how it will be received.

        Knowing if the Flash is in its new continuity, or directly folliwing ZSJL or JWJL or a mixture of all of the above, has me seriously curious. It will also give us the best sense of the direction the franchise is headed.
