Emmanuelle Chriqui joins Superman & Lois as Lana Lang

Emmanuelle Chriqui has joined the upcoming Superman & Lois on The CW as Lana Lang.

Despite production being shutdown across all of the various Arrowverse series, casting is still moving forward on the upcoming Superman & Lois. The series - which received a straight-to-series order - has added Chriqui (The Passage, Entourage) as Clark's first love, Lana Lang. There will, however, be a twist as she will be known as Lana Lang-Cushing, and is not a loan officer at the Smallville Bank.

Superman & Lois has been scheduled for a fall 2020 premiere, but with everything on hiatus at the moment due to the quarantines, it may need to be pushed back a bit.

The new series will feature Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. They will be joined by Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as their sons.

She would have been a better Lois. Lana should have red hair and be cute but not as hot as Lois. This Lana is a 10 and Lois is a 6.5.

Can't say I care too much. I don't mean that in a bad way or anything. I just can't be bothered with the show... the CW have done nothing but treat Superman like trash and like Supergirl's sidekick who should be lucky to even stand in her presence. He's a complete joke in his respective universe, so no thank you.

CW Superman hasn't won a SINGLE FIGHT he's been in on his own.
Deegan kicked his ass in the previous crossover, Supergirl kicked his ass in the Season 2 finale, he was the only one who got grabbed by the Anti-Monitor and couldn't escape in Crisis, and Brandon Routh's Superman beat him up and Lois and Iris saved him, etc.
It's obscene how much of a hate-boner these writers have for Superman.

Emmanuelle Chriqui is 44 years old (12 years Tyler Hoechlin's elder), but she looks younger than Elizabeth Tulloch (39) who plays Lois.
