Birds of Prey teaser information appears on certification site

It seems that a new Birds of Prey teaser is on the way at long last.

To date, the only footage officially released for Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has been a teaser released as filming commenced back in January of this year. With the film just under six months from release now, it appears that we're finally going to see some marketing.

According to Trailer Track, a Birds of Prey teaser has surfaced for certification by Germany's FSK. There's no definitive information as to which film this will be attached to, but the speculation is It: Chapter Two as it hits theaters on Sept. 6.

The disappointing piece of information is that the Birds of Prey teaser is listed as being under 40-seconds. It will more than likely not show us anything too substantial, but we'll just have to wait to see how it's cut together before we know for sure.

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be the first appearance of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn since Suicide Squad. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress, while Jurnee Smollett-Bell will be playing Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain as well. And Ewan McGregor joined the cast as Gotham City villain Black Mask.

The Birds of Prey movie is scheduled to hit theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.

I think AT&T is generally leaning hard on promotion budgets. Patty Jenkins has said that they won't start promoting WW84 until December, which is also six months out and that's a much bigger movie.

  Bad Boys 3 comes out in January and also doesn’t have a trailer yet. The industry is trending towards not rolling out marketing as early as before. It: Chapter 2 got its first trailer only four months before the movie’s release. Calm down.

    That are only 2 DC things I'm interested in: Joker and The Batman.

      Yeah. I make no judgement on the movie at this stage. It's just things I've been reading online and hearing from commentators.
      The buzz is there are some serious problems with the movie, its production and from people that have seen various filmed sequences.

Nothing wrong with SJW feminist movie as long as it's good. Agenda movies think the agenda is good enough like Christian movies, but it's not.
The best are the ones that are best is the message comes out of the story like Wonder Woman.

  difference between Wonder Woman and an SJW feminist movie is that Wonder Woman actually inspires, displays character, strength, harmony, and love in actions without TELLING you and forcing it down your throat just so you can be aware of the "message." It didn't go out of it's way to put down men or alternative views. SJW movies are the opposite of that. They aren't about telling an entertaining story for a general audience (no matter how much they try to paint it to be), but rather a lecture that takes jabs at anyone who don't fill the desired status quo

      Not really. It seems you are actually missing the point. Women protagonists, and stories based on women is not the issue. I think it will be great for more to be made. I'm also an advocate for diversity, that fits the narrative tastefully and appropriately.
      How about we change Blade (a fictional marvel character) to a Mexican, for the sake of diversity. Let's make men fumbling idiots in our story, because that's how they are in this fictional world. Or how about going a little more to the extreme and make a movie about Hitler as a protagonist and it could be the best Hitler movie ever created and point out how "good" his intentions were, after all, it's JUST a movie.
      Still didn't catch the point?
      WHatever the case may be, I think we can all agree: We don't have to watch anything we don't want to watch. :)

      "your point" was lost when you placed Wonder Woman in the category of SJW feminist propaganda. . . I thought WW was just a superhero movie (a good one too). I never really had a vibe, real thought, or felt WW has a hidden agenda about feminism. I might be wrong if so, they hid it well, but when I saw the trailers & movie, I just saw a good superhero movie & no agenda about SJW feminism takeover BS. In fact, what "SJW feminist movie(s)" is good? & Christian movie? Huh? What superhero movie has Christian propaganda??? A Christain movie tells you it's a Christain movie. So, find a better example.     Pro-female is not necessarily the same as pro-feminist. There really is nothing inherently "feminist" about WW. It's just a movie about a female hero. Saying that's "feminist" is like saying if you believe in gender equality, you're a feminist. That's oversimplified reasoning. I believe in equality, but I sure as hell am not a feminist. WW wasn't at all pushing or conveying a feminist message. It was about how "love" ultimately defeats evil. How is that feminist?

  An SJW feminazi movie IS ABOUT the agenda, there is not subtlety and it's way over the top. WW is not one of those. WW's message was subtle and mature and wasn't even really about the fact that she was a woman doing cool things so much as it was about the nature of humanity. And the titular character is not masculinized, as is so commonly the case in SJW feminazi movies, but rather her femininity was one of her STRENGTHS in the film.

Truth be told I’m not a big Harley Quinn fan, of the character I mean. I think she works well if she’s with Joker or Poison Ivy, but not by herself. My only real interest in this film is Black Mask, well mainly I’m a big Ewan McGregor fan.

Only reason I am watching it is because I've subscribed to Regal unlimited. Other than that, the trailers would have to blow me away in order not to pass on this movie.

I bet Black Mask won't even be in his iconic mask for the majority of the film and when he does wear it, it'll probably look nothing like the one from the comics... Eh, probably watch it when it comes out on digital. Just not hyped enough yet to pay to see it in the theater.
