We're super stoked for the upcoming seasons of the CW's Arrowverse shows, but what we're really excited about is the big crossover. And it really is the big crossover. That's why we have our official DC Comics wall calendars marked up in red pen now that TV Guide has revealed the air dates for CW's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover.

CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths air dates

The five-part crossover begins on Sunday, December 8, at 8 pm EST with Supergirl airing an hour later than usual. It continues the next night, on Monday, December 9, also at 8 pm EST, with Batwoman showing a day later. The Flash will take care of part 3 on Tuesday, December 10, at 8 pm EST.

Then, we get to hold our breaths for an entire month, at which time the crossover will end in a 2-hour double-episode special. Arrow takes over on Tuesday, January 14, airing an hour earlier than usual at 8 pm EST. Finally, the crossover closes out with DC's Legends of Tomorrow on the same day at 9 pm EST.

Guest Stars and No Shows

All kinds of other wild news has come out about the crossover. Get ready for spoilers, if you're averse to that kind of thing. Kevin Conroy, of Batman: The Animated Series, will appear as a version of Bruce Wayne. Brandon Routh, who plays Atom on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, will suit up as 'Kingdom Come' Superman alongside Tyler Hoechlin's Supes. The original live-action Robin, Burt Ward, will guest on Batwoman. Black Lightning will appear in the crossover in some respect, as well. The CW is really going all out to make this crossover feel like a huge comic-book event.

Actors and producers have debunked some rumored guest spots, too. Smallville's Lex Luthor, Michael Rosenbaum, confirmed that he's not in the event (with a little help from the current Lex Luthor, Jon Cryer). Fandom.com's Eric Goldman reports that Arrowverse producer Marc Guggenheim wants someone from Smallville on the crossover, but nothing is confirmed. Guggenheim also says that Lynda Carter appearing as an older Wonder Woman is not likely. Carter has already popped up on Supergirl as the President of the United States, but this is still disappointing.

Even with those fun rumors debunked, this is still shaping up to be a gargantuan TV event. We don't have to wait much longer to see how things go down.
