on New 'Joker' set photos reveal Joaquin Phoenix and Bryan Callen as a stripper

Over the weekend we got our first look at Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in Joker thanks to some set photos. Phoenix  continued filming that scene this week, but this time another character was spotted on set too.

Just Jared shared new set photos that were taken yesterday, which show Phoenix, Glenn Fleshler as a clown, and Bryan Callen in his male stripper outfit. Callen revealed that he'd be playing a stripper on his podcast earlier this summer. Topless female strippers are also rumored, which suggests that Joker is shooting with an R rating in mind.

Head on over to Just Jared to check out the new Joker set photos. The movie is scheduled to shoot through the end of the year in New York City. It will hit theaters on October 4, 2019.

This movie will be great. The buzz has been overwhelmingly positive, and these are just set clips and pics. When the trailer comes out it will break the internet, lol. Anyways, this DC black thing might be the start of something very special.

Speaking of the DC Black Label the first issue Batman Dammed was fucking brilliant, anyone yet to read it really should either now or when its all collected. Then you have Batman White Knight trade out soon what is one of my favorite Batman stories of recent years what any Batman fan should read.

im holding off till the uncut hardcover of white knight to get that trade (already have all the comics), Sean Murphy is trying to convince DC to let him do an uncut HC

Jesus christ, it's barely begun shooting and so many fans are already hyping it up to insane standards. This is how every DC film since BVS has begun so far, they release some images and people go nuts, then the film is released and more often then not it becomes clear that it was a terrible idea and a total waste of time... These are the facts - This is a film about a failed comedian who decides to become a killer, it's not part of the DC universe, it doesn't involve batman and has almost nothing in common with any iteration of the joker from the source material apart from the way he looks. Having the Joker as the lead character (and in a universe without batman) implies some sort of redeemable qualities, which means they're going to make the joker an anti-hero. Every fibre of my being is telling me that despite the great cast and design, this film is a terrible idea.

To be honest this route is the best way to exploit the canon there. C'mon lets all get serious here, DC comic lore is sprinkled and mainly themed by the outstanding villains of Gotham, Star City, krypton, bloodhaven etc

We cannot repeat or ever do what Marvel done. that doesn't mean whats coming next will be outstanding in its own way.

The way I see it, Aquaman, WW2 and the filter movies that follow wlll wrap a up a somewhat awkward JL story, where the standalone movies will be the erm, stand out pictures

Joker origin, with hopefully Reeves Batman attached to it would do me fine.

I think Logan is a more direct correlation. However, Deadpool and Deadpool 2 I believe is the reason they're going with an under hundred million dollar Bird's of Prey. 100% correct, I quite enjoy rebirth. But when one says “I know the source material and I’ve been reading since rebirth,” well rebirth started in 2016 so the DCEU was always already started.

Not to mention, nothing DC films and TV is doing is actually following Rebirth. So how again is DC following to source material in their movies and shows?

Also, Geoff Johns introduced the whole there are 3 jokers back on his JL run for new 52 and is soon to come out with the 3 jokers story.. So we don’t even know yet what is the whole 3 jokers. Plus we current have two jokers (phoniex and Leto) not three so
