It's Batman Day! And to celebrate, DC has released a new clip from Titans which shows Jason Todd and Dick Grayson meeting for the first time.

Jason Todd, aka the new Robin, is very excited about his new role as Batman's partner. He even says he gets to drive the Batmobile, which seems to take Grayson by surprise. The new video shows that Titans will have some humor to lighten up the otherwise dark and gritty show. Check it out below!

DC Universe officially launches today, and Titans will premiere on Friday, October 12th.

    Not sure how Titans can do Death in the Family episode without Batman. So either they eventually intro Bruce/Batman on Titans, or we only see Todd’s death referenced on the show...

      i get the feeling he is just there for the sake of Dick's arc. I don't think there is going to be any DotF or Red Hood stuff happening here

    Really? I thought it was a great clip. Loving the two Robins so far. Casting seems strong, visuals in and out of costume are strong, excited about the story between them, etc.

        Open your eyes, better yet, open a comic book and there is your answer. This is the same production company, Greg Berlanti, that does the CW smarmy DC shows. Superman with seat belt locks as part of his cape greatness. From these pictures, it is more of the same.A Beast Boy who is not green...get out of here.

        It's not about how much she's wearing so much as the style of the outfit.

        She's not supposed to look like she's working corners in Chicago; she's supposed to look like a princess from an exotic other world out in the cosmos that feels almost magical and free, but also superheroic and sometimes a bit athletic.

        They could have gone with any of the more conservative costumes from the comics/cartoons (or created a new updated take that still maintains the character) and fans would have been delighted:

    Every time I see more Robin, I get hyped for this show. Every time I see more Starfire, I begin to dread it.

        I actually tend to defend things more than many on this site. But there are some things, like Starfire’s costume and hair and actress, that are simply indefensible.

        Curran Walters, the actor who plays Jason, is actually 20, I think. Brenton Thwaites, who plays Dick, is already 29. Both look younger to me on the clip.

      I have to agree with you. DC's shows are, for the most part, GARBAGE. Especially the CW shows. They've had their good moments (Arrow Season 1 and 2 and Flash Season 1 were actually really good), but they took a nosedive shortly afterward. Gotham is inconsistently entertaining for what it is, but isn't really a great show. Krypton is decent, but I haven't kept up with it enough to judge it fairly.

      Agents of Shield bored me to tears and the Netflix shows have been hit-or-miss (Luke Cage bored me as did Jessica Jones and Iron Fist and The Defenders was underwhelming), but their moments of quality have outshined DC's (Punisher and Daredevil were good).

        I think the only DC show that will always get better each season is Preacher. Black lightning and I zombie are decent. Lucifer is a hit or a miss. Krypton is a great show as well, I do hope Titans, doom patrol and swamp thing are amazing because if not at least I have young justice.

    Series? If the Marvel shows hadn't steadily declined into boring uninteresting shitshows they are now, I might have agreed. Aside from Daredevil and the Punisher, everyone else's show is or has become either awful or straight up boring as fuck.

      That's where I disagree. Iron Fist is a dumpster fire I doubt this show will touch. It might be close. But it's very difficult to make a show as bad as IF.

    The sad thing is if you want to see this show, you have to pay. After what WB is doing to DCEU/DCU, I really can’t give them my money now.
