Wonder Woman 1984 began filming in the Washington D.C. area this week. We had seen an official photo of Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, but this morning Gadot shared our first look at Wonder Woman!

"She's back...," Gadot wrote on Twitter. There are probably some slight design updates to the costume, but this is very much supposed to be the one we've seen her wear in Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League. Gadot will be getting another costume at some point in the movie that's said to resemble "battle gear".

Several Batman News readers in the DC area told me that Wonder Woman 1984 will be filming in a parking garage this weekend. There's a good chance that Gadot will be filming in her Wonder Woman costume, which is probably why we got this cool official look so early this morning.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on November 1, 2019.

I have just thought recently that it's a bit ridiculous that Diana has basically been running around in the same costume for 100 years. I think it would have been cool if they could have started out with a different costume (maybe one in line more with her Silver age costume) in the first WW film, then have it evolve into a more modern costume for the 2nd WW film , which then eventually evolves into the costume she has in BvS. I also think it would have been cool if they had updated her costume in Justice League (like they did with Batman and Superman) instead of giving her the same costume as in BvS.
Kinda what marvel does with Captain America or Black Widow where they have a slightly different costume in each film over the years.

  Well the suit is kinda iconic right now and is near perfect, its so great that she's currently wearing it in the comics and it looks just as good there as it does on screen.

      Well unlike Supes or Bats costume WW's look is a part of her image, as i said this is the only look to be adapted into the comics and its a look what tons and tons of cos-players are dressing as. Its a simple case of this look is too good to change and is more profitable as well, anyway we know she gets a new look in WW84 but we just don't know if it will last past this film.

  The Amazons are beings that live for thousands of years and use the same equipment and wear the same armor for that entire time. Not sure I'm following your logic on how it's "ridiculous" that an Amazon would wear the same armor for 100 years. Just because Disney changes Iron Man's suit in every movie, doesn't mean that now there is a precedent that its illogical for all super heroes to not do the same thing.

  Inside the mind of a fictional character: She'd view it more as her traditional Amazonian uniform from home, that she wears to honor her people. She wouldn't constantly be looking to either upgrade, or unnecessarily change aesthetic like Cap, Batman, Black Widow, or Iron Man. Saw this earlier, she looks stunning and this is currently my PC background. She really does look the part and its actually a really great pic, love the colors and the suit even looks brighter in the pic.

    She is a female, and more importantly model when she is not acting. I don't think anyone truly understands how hard it is for females to tack on that amount of mass that quickly she would have to up her carb and overall diet intake beyond belief which will lead her to not being a model or by the standards of the modeling business in shape enough to walk a Runway or model for big time companies.

    I like how you describe Coulson's intention, but I think they've just decided to be more careful after seing the competition with Man of Steel, they made better costumes and make ups after, and they're doing better sountracks for their recent movies too.

This vibrant rendition of her costume makes me wonder if the previous films were in black and white, lol. Like, nothing Zack did other than casting her worked. He fucked up everything. It's baffling, truly baffling, how one miserable decision has sent DC plummeting.

  It's not like armor tends to fade over the years. Hell, the colors were mute in her first film, which made sense cause vibrant colors in a war film is tonal whiplash and the colors in Themsyscira weren't vibrant.

        Honestly dude, you're just projecting your hatred of other opinions and statements you don't agree with, whenever you baselessly assume hatred on the other side.
        I merely pointed out the big difference between these two versions of the costume. And it's not due to "colors washing out over time", which makes zero sense, as that would make her costume in JL even more washed out, which wasn't the case. And as for the original WW film, I don't know what you're talking about. Her costume popped off screen, the no man's land scene is proof of that.
        So in short, her BvS costume is not desaturated because of "its age"... It was solely because Snyder is obscenely obsessed with desaturation and sucking the colors out of literally everything. Which is something he deserved criticism for, and bringing up that fact on this particular article is not "hateful" or "unnecessary".
        It's completely relevant, as it proves Patty's direction is different from Snyder's failed vision (regardless of your opinion). It proves they are doing something new and not following what Snyder did, which - even if you like his films - you have to admit is nothing but a good thing.

        No not really. It’s just that 90% of the time on here, any time Snyder is mentioned by one of you guys, you’re bashing him for something. Even when you say something nice about him, it’s a back handed compliment at best.
        And not to me. The costume never popped. Yeah it was more colorful than everything else, but it was no where near as vibrant as others have claimed. It’s like saying the Iron Man has vibrant colors.
        Again, even though OTHER CBMs have similar costumes for their, it’s Snyder’s costume that failed.
