Warner Bros. has released the first clip from their upcoming animated movie, Batman: Gotham By Gaslight. We see Pamela, The Plant Lady (aka Poison Ivy) meeting Jack the Ripper in a dark alley of turn-of-the-century Gotham City. Check it out above.
Batman: Gotham By Gaslight has been rated R and will be available on Digital HD on January 23, 2018 and Blu-ray on February 6, 2018. It's available for pre-order now.

But they need to dish out more DC Animated films that don't feature Batman. Dont get me wrong, I’d love me some more Batman content, and he is probably THE most profitible property for the studios - but they need to balance the scales and give other properties/characters a shot at telling their stories.
The Death of Superman is coming soon. Well...how soon? I mean, some time next year. And I'm curious if it's going to be set in the current heavily new-52 influenced animated universe or not.
Yeah, they should start going away from that universe as inspiration, it's been more than a year that Rebirth started and it's obviously a better place to be inspired than the N52

Gotham by Gaslight universe is Elseworlds and is set in Earth 19, same as Accelerated Man (and Gypsy and HR in the Arrowverse...) So is there a chance we can see this version of Batman in the CW? who knows right?

I doubt it as the Arroweverse doesn't use the Multiverse of the comics and there's no way will ever see Batman in the Arrowverse.

Those are valid complaints for a Hack Snyder film, not this animated film.
and at least they acknowledge this as an Elseworld. They don't take an Elseword and then try to convince the audience that it's a genuine take on the characters.

This should be a slam dunk DC is king in animation. Hopefully WB doesn’t mandate a 2 hour run time and cut out all the scenes... has anybody else seen the atrocity that was the last Jedi ? Disney isn’t as bullet proof as people make it out lol. Oh and it brings up the conversation why the RT critic score is high but the audience score is lower then Justice League’s audience score and the critic scores are low for most DCEU movies but the audicence score are higher but most people still believe that their isn’t a bias against the DCEU lol. Or that Disney pays off critics oh well be the gullible sheep that you are. I’m not saying that some of the DCEU movies don’t have issues but it’s not as bad as the critics will make it seem. I love for every DCEU movies except for Justice League and Suicide Squad because of what WB did to those movies. Suicide Sqaud has gotten better for me after multiple viewings tho I admit but still disappointed. I also find it funny how now certain people and youtubers are now saying that critic scores or rotten tomatoes doesn’t matter after The Last Jedi got bad reviews from audiences but critics loved it lol but when it’s DC it matters right. I’m a huge Star Wars fan and it sounds probably my favorite movie franchise ever behind DC comic movies so I’m not hating because I feel that there’s a bias between DC/WB and Disney I’m hating because they ruin the movie and made the whole franchise weaker at the same time. Kinda disappointed how the 2 movies I looked forward too the most this year ended up being the 2 movies I hated the most in my life smh. JL is a better movie then Last Jedi btw that’s crazy lol
It was more then clear after BvS that RT and other "critics" are all manipulated.
Looks really good, hopefully they do a better job at a adapting and adding stuff to a classic comic then they did with The Killing Joke.

I love how the comments on YouTube are people complaining about Ivy "should" be able to easily handle Jack the Ripper, when they forget it's in the 1800's.
Not just 1800s, but an alternate reality, where nobody has any powers. And of course, in that setting she'd be a whore!
