'Justice League' still hasn't beat 'The Avengers' opening weekend after 3 weeks at the box office

Warner Bros. had hoped that Justice League would be their Avengers, but things definitely haven't gone as planned. Justice League finished second at the box office this weekend, behind Disney's Coco once again, and made another $16.6 million.

After three weeks at the box office, Justice League has made $197.3 million domestically. That's still behind the $207.4 million that Marvel's The Avengers made in its opening weekend.

Justice League pulled in another $35.7 million overseas this weekend, for a worldwide total of $567.4 million so far. I think that Justice League has about 10 days left to make most of the money it's going to make at the box office, because on December 14th Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters and will rule the box office.

If Justice League wants to avoid being the lowest grossing movie in the DC Films Universe, it's going to need to make a little over $100 million more to beat Man of Steel's $668 million. Do you think it has what it takes to make that happen? Let me know in the comments below.

Guys how about reboot the whole thing & put Snyder in charge of everything as director,producer,..... full control of everything,I bet the films will pass 5 B$ & will get 10 out 10 a masterpiece of cinema history.

Anecdotal. This has nothing to do with repeat viewings. No one came out to watch it in the first place.
I have lost count of my MoS viewings. I had the ultimate pass for BvS and I saw it no less than a dozen times in theaters. I have now seen JL 6 times.
As much as I hate the movie as a whole and Disneyfication of it, I still enjoy it broken apart. I still enjoy it as an episode of JL the animated series. The is a LOT in there to enjoy as a fan of DC. You just ignore the comedy, you ignore the green screen reshoots, you ignore the fuck out of that atrocious sound track and just be at peace with whats left.
At this point I'm basically renting out a whole IMAX theater all to myself for $35 including reclining leather seats, a popcorn and a drink. I'll probably see it a couple more times before it gets pulled.
Fuck I hate this movie.

The good news here is that JLA will outperform WW in China (by a small margin), so not all markets gave up on the film. Still not what other blockbustres make over there but the usual 90+ mil there is better than nothing. All 5 films side by side: http://www.boxofficemojo.co...

How would that work? Such a cut would struggle to reach the requited feature length of 40 min. if no Sndra footage is used.

Well the DCEU is a franchise no one likes or wants that has largely produced bad films, so it shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

  4/5 films made money and this is a surprise. Just read the professional box-office prediction just days before release. 750-800 mil were seen as the lowest limit.
