Margot Robbie wants The Joker and Harley Quinn's love story to "end in flames"

The Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship in Suicide Squad was a bit different than what fans were used to seeing. The Joker seemed to genuinely care for Harley, nearly risking his life to rescue her from Amanda Waller and then breaking her out of prison at the end of the movie.

With talks of a Joker and Harley Quinn movie in the works, there's potential to explore their relationship even further. Bang Showbiz caught up with Margot Robbie at the premiere of her new movie Goodbye Christopher Robin, and she gave her thoughts on the crazy couple's relationship.

"Their love story has to end in flames! It has to, it just wouldn't be right," Robbie said.

Meh....other than Margot being eye candy, I don't care too much about this film. So many other DC superheroes I would like to see before any Joker and Harley movie.

  bruh the movie in general was BAD. I have no idea why Robbie gets praise for her performance. She was OK. Nothing amazing. I actually enjoyed Will Smiths acting more and thought he stole the show as well as the women who played Waller, she was really good too but was only in a handful of scenes

    Agree on all points. SS was one of the worst movies, if not the worse movie, I've ever seen in my life. I came out of the theater like someone just slapped me in the face and took my girl in the process. This coming from a hardcore DC fan.

      Its the only film i can ever remember watching where there were zero redeeming qualities for any character. Horribly written and directed. Worst film ever made.

      Pretty much. So many dumb lines, dumb cliches, and then Affleck at the end credits felt so tagged on that I cringed. Its like they did not even try. The soundtrack was good, but they even manage to mess that up by having music in every other damn scene, which by then the whole movie eventually turned into a music video. I can go on forever.....

      Lol....fair enough. Glad we can agree it was one of the worst films in cinematic history. It goes to show again that money is definitely not a deciding factor on the quality of a movie...by far.

    Will Smith was the one who had more screentime and more development and he couldn't be further away from the character that he portrayed. I know that most people don't know anything about Deadshot but he is a cold and ruthless hitman that has a desire to die in great style. He is not the cool guy who wants to save the world like in every other movie of Will Smith. Actually, that scene where he says - "let's save the world" - was cut after all the backlash in the social media. His lines were the most cringeworthy I ever heard in a film" Lady, you are evil" " That is just a mean lady.
    Thank you, Deadshot for telling us that the ladies are evil because if you didn't tell us, we wouldn't know. We also wouldn't know that you and the other members of the squad are bad guys ( We are the bad guys)
    I should know that a Will Smith movie is about Will Smith and the rest of the characters have to be in the shadows. That was what happened in this film. The story of the other characters and the interactions between the group was cut so Mr. Smith could shine.
    He even tried to change Django script because he thought he was not the star of the film and he wouldn't kill the bad guy, but Tarantino who is a very powerful director didn't let him and send him to take a walk. then Will Smith invented the excuse that he didn't want Django to be a revenge story but a love story, because there's too much violence in this world and love must be the answer. He came with this pseudo-moralistic excuse just to justify the fact that he wanted to shine above all the other actors and the script didn't let him do that.
    I'm sure Will Smith's representatives convinced the WB executives to change the movie so he could shine above everyone else and make a typical will Smith story where he is the hero and only his cool guy demeanor is portrayed. The other actors were just screwed, but that is what happens in a Will Smith movie.
    Other co-stars already told what an A-hole he was to them.

    i dont know what yall are talking about. I thought she was one of the few highlights of that movie. I am very excited to see her do more with the role. She is an extremely talented actress and I thought she did very well with what she had.

The Joker's loyal til the end, villainous girlfriend, was a great concept. He treats Harley like crap, yet shows her just enough affection to keep her around, because she's his best henchman. That's the way their relationship seemingly played out in the animated series, and the Arkham games. But the rise in Harley's popularity, kinda forced DC to evolve her as a character, and make her more independent.

So far we got a cat Joker purring and a Harley saying "Now that's a killer app". Also they cut out Joker slapping Harley because they didn't want to offend female audience members. Kinda hacking what makes these two a couple WB but maybe they'll do a better job next time. Or just reboot this mess.

Also would rather introduce Robin first so they can introduce him as Joker's son in a Harley/Joker movie but I guess that's not gonna happen either. Nor Death of Superman movie cause he already died in BvS nor Death in the Family movie cause Robin is just a costume in a display case which has already been killed by Harley for some reason. You did The Killing Joke animated but somehow fucked that up too. Man WB get your priorities together. You acting like some kinda...Suicide Squad.
