         I really wish they would do a "Dawn of the Justice League 2" TV special to get us caught up on all the updates! Shazam didn't even get a mention in the one last year; Flash is delayed, JL2 is ???, Sirens, Dark Universe, The Batman. MoS2 are all in the mix... hell, Johns (and Snyder) need to do a special fan event to update the roadmap, but I'd take a half hour of Johns and Kevin Smith's screaming.

            I'd like to know your news sources saying that the flash movie is delayed because nothing has come from warner bros so far. But I do agree though a second DCEU special would be nice.

            What works in the cartoon may not work in live-action. SS already had people questioning where WW and Batman were at. Having Superman go solo against Brainiac or Darkseid in a solo film will have everyone screaming "Where the fuck is the JL!!?".

               It's hard for me to imagine Brainiac doing anything that wouldn't warrant everyone's attention. The best option would be for them going the Civil War route. Mogul would be a good choice because he could kidnap Superman.

               How can it be hard to imagine if it's been done before in animated and comics. Audiences asking "where's the JL" isn't an excuse. So what's the problem?

               Again, what works in comics and cartoons may not work in films. Brainiac is doing something that wI'll destroy the Earth, and we don't hear a peep from any of other JL members? Audiences are gonna have problems with that.

               So instead of just being lazy and ignore a possible plot hole, why not give an explanation for why Superman is fighting on his own? I'm pretty sure it's basic storytelling 101 where you don't ignore plot holes.

               But shouldn't you try to avoid some of those narrative isdues? For the DCEU, these issues can be a real problem for the DCEU because they don't have the same footing as Marvel does.

   It would be foolish to not include The Rock in the DCEU. As much as I'm not crazy about a Shazam movie, his presence would seemingly help move things forward to where everyone tells me WB wants to be. His film should not be separate from the main DC continuity (as reported before). Make him a villain in the next Superman film!

      Hell no. Have Supes appear in Shazam, as a mentor to Shazam himself, Have an actual Superman villain that's never been done before for his next solo film like Brainiac, Metallo (though he isn't exactly the kind of villain for a whole movie), Mongul or Parasite for example.

   As excited as I am about WW and JL, I'm ready to hear more about the other properties. Honestly, Shazam is one of the more intriguing movies on the slate, and we barely know anything about it yet.

   Both Johnson and cavill own their respective production companies. I bet they've got together in a joint venture/project obviously including their DC characters. Maybe shazam's plot somehow spaws MoS 2s plot

   It's good to see that, even though they had a rocky start, the DCEU is going ahead with its properties!

   C'mon guys, I know a lot haven't liked or have been dissapointed with some/the movies we have seen so far, but everybody should be excited for getting the chance of seeing the DC Universe in an all cinematic glory!

   And this isn't the only franchise which has started with a bad step, let's just hope that in the end everything pays off! ;)

   Well in the TV special last year, Johns did say that 8 mythologies will be crashing together, now considering the Movie slate at that time, it was definitely a referral to Green Lantern as 7th and Shazam as 8th Superhero joining the Justice League, and hence there should be a presence of Black Adam in the DCEU as a whole and not just limited to the Solo movie. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would definitely help rise the overall profile of our beloved universe.

    No way thats way too dark and just not fun at all. Hows about.. now follow me on this one.. if there was LAND, and maybe Lex LU'THOR wanted prime real estate. There could be a nuke involved, maybe even two of them??? think of the possibilities. Just think of how much FUN everyone would have with the LAND OF OTISBURG!?? God knows DC needs to step up the corny so we can all have fun and follow a movie. We're talking RT rating of over 9000 here.

    Black Adam would be a good MoS 2 villain. With him you could explore one of Superman's vulnerabilities beside kryptonite. And that's magic.

    Mongul would be awesome, too. With him they could do "For The Man Who Has Everything" adaptation.
    That would be perfect second MoS film.

    Brainiac... Yes. After Steppenwolf and parademons and Darkseid, what we need is yet another alien villain.
    Damn, I can see the future. Internet complaining about this exact thing. :D
    No. Brainiac maybe after we are introduced with Green Lantern Corps and we get to explore Universe in DC.

    I know that's technically not Superman, but still...
    If there's one thing I fear they'll do, is to make Superman less powerful. Batman is my favorite of course, but I never liked that most characters are said to be "(almost) as strong as Superman". It just makes Superman look less special. He's supposed to be the pinnacle of superheroes. Nothing or no one (hero wise) should or could challenge his physical strength. Superman should always be the strongest, and I sincerely hope they won't make Black Adam / Shazam as strong as him.

                I get that they won't have Supes fight him and beat him without breaking a sweat... But I'm just tired of the constant "they are as strong as him" - as if these characters "need" to be in the first place.
                Same with WW and Aquaman. "WW's sword can cut his flesh!" She's as strong as him... Aquaman's Trident can cut his flesh"
                People constantly complain about Superman being overpowered, yet they can't stop making everybody equally strong. Strength of character does not only come from superpowers.

       Good point, although it's true that Superman shouldn't be automatically stronger than any villain. Maybe learn first how to beat them? That way villains can shine on their own too and he is OP that no one could rival him.

       But I agree that Superman should be "the pinnacle of superheroes", at least eventually

          That's why I said HERO wise, because obviously villains still need to pose a threat. Ofc, Adam is a "villain" (although it seems they are going for an antihero), but he's still practically the same as Shazam, who should be "weaker" than Superman. If they want Adam to be a formidable foe, just exploit Superman's convenient weakness to magic. Don't make Adam physically stronger.

    I just want to know who's going to play Capt. Marvel. And how big a role he'll even have. Maybe he gets killed in the first act, forcing Black Adam to be a reluctant hero.

    black adam is a very complex character . but i don't get how are they going to handle a shazam movie. shazam is magic but not visual magic like doc strange,constantine or harry potter.

    any suggestions on good shazam comics?
