on New official photo of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Flash from 'Justice League'

Justice League director Zack Snyder said there would be some promotion this month, and he was right! Entertainment Weekly has premiered a new image of Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash from Justice League!

“I’m super happy with the chemistry of my league of justice doers,” Snyder told EW.

Ezra Miller, who plays The Flash, said his character "annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone."

"Uncle Fish Curry [Aquaman] is very grumpy. Dad [Batman] gets grumpy too. ­Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate," Miller explained.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.

    This is AWESOME and I don't want to get too greedy... but do you guys think this is the calm before a trailer?! Or is this all Zack meant by promo coming this month?

      I kinda hope there isn't a trailer. We're still nearly 11 months out and that would be two trailers already. That's one of my peeves with BVS. Too much damn content before it was even released

            Dude, it doesn't matter. What matters is that it showed parts of the movie. Therefore it worked like a trailer when it comes to things shown. So we've already had one and they shouldn't show too much nor jump the gun in that regard, is all I'm saying.

            I refuse to call it a trailer. I'm sorry but I just won't. It probably fits your definition but not mine. And the first look showed us nothing besides Bruce Wayne recruiting so I wouldn't worry about the trailer actually giving us a sense of the plot when it comes out.

            Dude, it's semantics, but it was a 2.5 minute trailer, whether you want to admit it or not. It showed footage, part of the main plot, and character interactions, suits and locations...
            You can't really deny it, unless you like turning a blind eye just to keep your point of view intact. It's not even a negative thing, it just is.

            Dude did you really just say footage then list everything that is in footage to make it seem as if those are separate points? Are still photos and promo pics the same? No. Although they are essentially similar. I personally have a problem because if it was a legit trailer it would be poor, that's why WB made that distinction. I'm not turning a blind eye.

            Sure, but the point is not if this was an official trailer by name or not. They showed footage, like a trailer would, a year and half before the release of the movie. That's why the point was made, they shouldn't be jumping the gun with promotion for the movie, they shouldn't start so early to the point where they will potentially spoil the movie in trailers to come, because that was essentially a trailer, just a very early one. Nobody is discussing semantics here, we are discussing the literal sense of what that was.

        The First Look from Comic Con isn't a trailer it was just a short clip of what they had that was completed just to show the fans. It wasn't suppose to be treated as an actual trailer.

          If it were to come out now and be labeled a trailer, everyone would consider it a trailer. Footage is footage no matter what you choose to call it, and footage spoils things no matter how small. That's just my opinion.

          I suspect it'll have to be past Wonder Woman for WB to release what I'm referring to here. Continuity issues, I guess.

      I think that picture (although awesome) is a little too generic to be considered promo unless it is backed up by something more hearty. We know what these characters already look like so it's not like it was some huge reveal or anything. I'd be very surprised if we don't get something else this week.

    Ben Affleck looks WAY less awkward in this photo than all of the BvS photos combined. Maybe it's the suit, or maybe he's just comfortable in the role now.

    I wonder if 100 years of Wonder Woman not maintaining that armor caused it to lose its luster. Just a thought.

    The only 2 bummers on the Flash's costume are the fingerless gloves and the undersuit. Make the gloves full fingered and the undersuit either the same shade of red or slightly darker red.

    Bats and WW look perfect but I am afraid my initial impression of DCEU Flash has only been reinforced - he looks nothing like Barry Allen or the Flash at all. A lot of people are hating on the suit online in the reactions to this image and I sadly can only agree. As someone said so wonderfully on superherohype "He looks like the Red Ranger"

    Not that an armored Flash cannot look awesome - just look at Injustice Flash, which is one of my most fav Flash designs ever - because it is not fucking around with the classic design of it. But the DCEU suit is just terrible and makes him look like a cheap Robocop. First of all not keeping the entire suit RED is a total crime. Why are there all these black spots and gapes on it ? Why cant the Flash symbol be BIG and BRIGHT ? and where are the yellow boots and gloves ? Not to mention that they even fucked up his lightning which is GOLD in the comics not blue. Wallys is blue, Barrys is gold. Always has been. Always will be. Even the TV show got that right.

    And then of course Ezras look and the whole goofy, nerdy and annoying kid persona that they are going for with him (Ezra himself confirmed this) - how in the hell is that Barry Allen? Sorry just no. Why is it so hard for Snyder to actually just make these characters like in the comics ? How hard can it be to take Barry as he is in the comics and put him in a movie ? Why always change every fucking thing ? Just stick to the damn source material, how fucking hard can that be ??

    Love Batman and WW but Flash is just a total fail.

      Really dude? We barely saw one whole scene with Ezra and already judging. It's like you already made up your mind.
      Let's be completely honest. Do you watch the tv show? If yes....
      He acts THE EXACT SAME WAY. Always whining and nerds out with Cisco. His irritating and tiresome tone of voice is pretty bad and annoying, but the bad thing about him as a character, is constantly ignoring the consequences 24/7 about fucking the timelines, no matter how many warning he gets, even from the freaking villains themselves. At this point, the writers are at fault.

        Which was why I gave up on the show in mid-season 2. I could see the writing on the wall. One of major pet peeves when it comes to story is characters who repeatedly make the same mistakes and not learn from them (looking at you, Tony).

      (Which is to say that, IMHO, these characters have been through so many iterations and so many hands over their 75 or more years that any through-line in their characterization is nothing more than an archetype at this point. Better to use them to create your own work -- as every writer and artist do every month -- than to try to replicate what has already been done 12 different ways.)

      Watch the CW Flash show or the JLA / JLU toon. You may recognize a few characterization decisions in these very polar adaptations. Snydra is spot on so far, regarding both costume (play some of the games) and behavior.

          I was born in 1988 and i have tried every Flash run since his reboot in 1987. I even finished most. I also read Golden + Silver Age Flash. I am kind an expert on the character, now that i think about it. I have read more than half of his comic appearances though time, by math alone, and i tried every single adaptation too. The CW show is pretty good but it somewhat misses the point of who Barry is in the books. The romance is rubbish too, eh. 8/10

      of course the whiny fanboys on this site just had to misconstrue my comments completely. Suddenly I have been saying that Flash is a fail in the movie because of Ezras performance ? I never said that.

      I said that the portrayal of Barry they are going with (which we ALREADY know of) is a fail and a HUGE departure from the comic books. It has nothing to do with Ezras performance so I dont need to see it to judge it. I am judging the approach to the character.

      Is the reading comprehension on this site really this bad ?

        It's Black and grey, but the grey color is really dark, kind of charcoal gray, and with the lighting on the pictures it looks even darker, but it's not as dark as the cape and cowl... still liked the BvS colors more, it had more contrast, I hope he returns to those colors for his solo movie.

    Looks great, though Flash's costume is kinda disappointing, and it doesn't seem to go well with the other suits like Batman's or Wonder Woman's. I do have to question why they made Barry's lightning blue. The tv show got it right, and a lot of fanboys here rave about the DCEU's "comic book fidelity"... It's a minor thing, for sure, and I won't mind it, but it certainly would had a little bit of colour to the movie if it was gold, especially given how blue this image is.

          That doesn't change the fact that they are aiming for realism and believability anyways. With your logic, even the most ridiculously absurd scientific inaccuracies would be justified because "it's not real".

            Nope, that's with your logic because "lightning is blue". Lightning being gold is way more plausible than Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman or Flash existing. You want to have your cake and eat it too, uh?

            Seems like you even want a rise or something. The fuck... I only said that they may have gone with blue b/c that's lightning's true color. Nothing more. I could be wrong and I don't care. I only presented a possible argument, not a definitive statement. No one disputes the fact that Superman could never exist in the real world, but that doesn't change the fact that they are aiming for believability and realism anyways. If a person were to generate lightning through superpowers, it would most likely be blue of color. Is that so hard to understand? It's the same for Superman's flight. Yeah, it's completely unscientific and impossible, but they at least try to make it LOOK realistic by having him break the sound barriers and having particulates be affected by his flight powers.

            Maybe Snyder just thought it "looked" cooler. That wouldn't surprise me either. Or like Schuyler Finley said, blue indicates "being one" with the speed force, so maybe they did it for comic book reasons. I don't know and I don't care. All I'm saying is, it simply wouldn't surprise me, knowing Snyder and his aspirations for realism (no matter how badly he executes them), that they choose blue because that's the "real world" color.

            Ultimately, they choose blue for a reason. I think they did for "realism" purposes. You might say that logic is flawed because "nothing about powers is realistic" but that does NOT refute the argument. They went with blue. Big deal. Who cares?

        Also the armor is not his final suit, it's the one he made himself, by the final 3rd of the movie he'll get his final suit, the one we've seen in concept arts that is not armored.

        Sure, but that's very recent. Most likely done to accomodate the movies, maybe, which is what comic books do nowadays. I'm all for it, I really am, but it could inject some colour into the movie, which BvS and MoS kinda lacked in my opinion. No need to get so defensive and bring up these bullshit images that prove nothing besides how whiny and defensive DC fanboys (or any fanboys, of any kind) get.

          Blue lightning has been around in Flash's story for a while. A Future Flash had blue lightning and he debuted in 2014.

          those are the images that recently called to my mind. Me and others have stated before that the colors of the speedforce colors have been here for a while. and really? "bullshit images" your original comment mentioned about DCEU comic accuracy and also how the "tv got it right." i was giving you proof that the lightning is in the comics so saying that the tv show got it right is half inaccurate because the movies did too. im not really a dc fanboy just want fairness for all movies and false penalization of things in these movies.

            How was it "false penalization"? I said it was a minor thing, and I didn't really mind that much, but it would be better, even for the movie, because it would add some colour, especially to moments like the picture, which looks blue as fuck already... You got defensive and brought up some images with some cringeworthy type of defense that I still can't believe fanboys use in a serious manner (like comparing people saying the armour looks good in the injustice game, which is bullshit because no one in their right mind was that happy with the Injustice costumes, that was the weakest part of the entire game, to people saying the armour in the new film looks bad... They aren't even the same, not even close)...

        The blue lighting is also older than the N52. There are further other colors as red or black.

      In the comics the color of the lightning indicates how fast the Speedster is going.

      When Barry first started out his lightning was red as he got faster his lightning changed to be yellow. When he gets faster it will be start to shift more to blue before it eventually becomes white.
