Fan takes selfie with Zack Snyder, claims he said new 'Justice League' promo is coming this month

When we didn't get the new Justice League trailer this week with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, I figured we'd be waiting until 2017 to see more footage. But not so fast...

A fan named Mikah McAllister posted a selfie with director Zack Snyder on Instagram last night. "Shout out to my boss for officially making this meet up happen," he wrote.

According to McAllister, Snyder said that promotion for Justice League will start really soon... as in by the end of this month soon! Ben Affleck has a new movie coming out on Christmas day, could we be getting the new Justice League trailer around then?

Update 12/21/16: The fan has now recorded a YouTube video apologizing for any confusion. He says that Zack Snyder never said "this month", that was his own guess based on Snyder saying "real soon".

"The Batman" filmed at the WB lot?! I'm very cool with that. We could get a well-crafted, unique Gotham City in lieu of on-location in New York City or Detroit. The sets were phenomenal in Batman Begins.

  It´s not event the 1st life action JLA adaptation bro. It´s like the 3rd or 4th. All sucked but still and they had "featurette films" too, just in animation.
  I frankly don´t expect the film to live up to UC BvS. The bar is way too high and the film has to serve an inhuman amount of masters. It should be good but a sequel devoid of much buildup, or something genially eye-catching as Logan, is higher on my hype radar.

    Those don't really count because they were never theatrical releases nor major ones. Just shitty tv pilots or whatever. And animated does not count in the slightest, c'mon. Do agree that people making this out to be a life event are setting themselves up for a major disappointment. Or maybe they'll love it, because fanboys always make excuses in order to do so.

Lol. The only director that I ever met is Christopher Nolan at an airport lounge the year before TDKR. "Everyone should go see it because its Justice League"...see that mentality is something I agree with quite a bit tbh. I just cant get over how much of an embarrassment it was for BvS to not even make a billion at the box office. Just flat out embarrassing. But people listened to all the bad word of mouth and decided not to go see it and judge for themselves. They assumed "oh it must suck so I wont bother seeing it in theaters", when in actuality the movie was insanely divisive. Tons of people liked it and tons of people didn't. You had to see it for yourself, And now, we are getting a freaking JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.....the JUSTICE LEAGUE....GO WATCH THE DAMN MOVIE.

      Fans were dumbfounded when the trailer came out. Yeah, it was kinda mind blowing just to think they would even think of killing Superman, but it made the thought come into our minds. I didn't want to believe it, but I considered the possibility. At the time, though, I had way too much faith in Zack Snyder, something I have nothing of now, and I never thought they would do it this soon, in a Batman vs Superman movie. Alas, that's what happened.

      I didn't have faith in him even then, and he had feared fans would think of the death of Superman when the trailer came out, but they didn't since they were too busy arguing about how Doomsday's reveal "spoiled" the movie.
      You didn't like Superman being killed so early because you wanted a more emotional feel from everyone like in the original comic. But that's not what the movie aimed for. Superman was hated throughout BvS until the end, and in spite of being rejected by the world, he sacrificed his life for it. This also changed Bruce Wayne's heart, and will inspire him to create the JL.
      When Superman comes back, it'll all be worth it.

      It wasn't emotional, it destroyed the possibility of a good Death of Superman movie, it ruined any tension regarding Superman, given how he's apparently able to fucking recover from a hole in the fucking chest (i.e., a destroyed heart), and it was just poorly executed. Yeah, yeah, he sacrificed himself, but it doesn't mean it was well executed, which is the fucking history of the DCEU. Good ideas ruined by poor execution.

    The audience and critics showed they were feeling totally different about the movie. Almost everyone (even the ones that enjoyed it) are starting to believe it was a bad movie, because of all the fan boy button pushers. It wasn't!
