Maybe that has something to do with it nearly grossing the same amount as BvS. People can say what they want about SS but it had crazy legs so the general audience clearly liked it

  did they though? The trailers were good so people had to go see what the whole big movie with the joker was about. Most people I talked to have not said good things and would not see a second movie.

  I can second that one. My friends(non comic book nerds, as general as they come) went absolutely bonkers after they watched Suicide Squad, well surpassing my reactions to the movie. So yeah, I can say that the general audience loved it. But I didn't.:/

Jl 2 pushed back now jl 1 and I'm not surprised jl 2 is being pushed back. Who knows maybe it was Geoff Johns who wanted Famiyuwa out for someone else

  I doubt it, why would they have had him on the E3 pannel? They would have named a replacement already. He had his costume designer and everyone on his team ready to go. His exit was too abrubt.

    WB should really consider bringing in David Benioff and D.B.Weiss from Game Of Thrones to help steer the ship for the DCEU in my opinion. Their input could be beneficial for future DC movies. As soon as Game Of Thrones comes to an end, Marvel and Lucasfilm will them a call. WB should make a deal with them as soon as possible.

After having read a couple of other website regarding Gotham City Sirens, everyone seems pretty excited for this movie as it something we have yet to see on the big screen. Kudos to DCEU for brining something new and fresh to the genre.

If it is as "fresh and new" as Suicide Squad was, given it is being made by the same fucking guy, then the DCEU really is fucked... Why the fuck would they choose a director they immediately regretted hiring while filming his first DCEU movie in the first place?

  That's why we can't put too much stock in rumors. Hiring him again obviously shows that they really did not regret it, and if they did then they saw the end numbers and said this guy will be a cash cow for us. Honestly, I really disliked SS, but it did make a tone of money, more than likely even more than BvS if it had opened in China. Regardless of everything, the executives only care about the bottom line, unlike us.

    Yeah, but Ayer had jackshit to do with it. Hire any hack filmmaker and they'll do a by the numbers, generic, ugly, formulaic, poorly directed/written movie just like this one. He does not bring money with his name alone, no one fucking knows the guy.I wish they'd hire someone that can actually make these movies good :(

Remember that Cyborg movie? Yeah, when last did you hear about that? Weren't they suppose to make a Black Adam movie with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson? Wasn't a Shazam and Green Lantern movie in the works? WHAT THE F.UCK HAPPENED TO THOSE, HUH??!!!

Meanwhile, they're making Suicide Squad 2, a Harley Quinn movie, and a f.ucking Deadshot movie??? ALL CHARACTERS FROM ONE MOVIE THAT MADE A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! F.UCK ME!!!!! What???!!
