Back in January, Cartoon Network announced a new 15 minute animated series titled Justice League Action, starring Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker. We got a cool sizzle reel at Comic-Con, but now the first clips from the show have debuted online.

Well yeah, maybe if you cut out the commercials? Honestly, news has been slim since that big announcement in January. I don't think we even have a premiere date yet.
It's one thing that's been driving me nuts trying to find any sort of news about this show
For UK episode one is Nov 26. No premiere date for the US yet. Episodes are 25 minutes made up of two 11 minutes shorts.

a bit too kids oriented for my taste, but it looks alright. voice acting is on point though

I like it, gives her a punk type of look. Cannot wait to watch this with my little brother. Teen Titans go was too goofy, but this looks like a good.
because when you think thousand year old amazon warrior demigoddess, you think punk. that seems rational.
Obviously is aimed at kids, but I like that the models and voice acting pay homage to the DCAU
really wish it had story like they did in the old DCAU.

Didn't the old one end like 10 years ago? It looked 100x better than this crap.
Not just simpler. BTAS, STAS and the JL cartoon were all simplistic, yet very well made, and didn't look cheap. Everything about this show looks cheap. The movement, fluidity, etc. No care was put into this. It's pretty obvious. Just another run of the mill super hero cartoon to cash in on the super hero craze, much like every other Super Hero cartoon nowadays, basically. Not that the 90's cartoons were any better, the only ones worth any damn were the Bruce Timm ones, because he actually cared about the product.
If you like it, that's fine, but frankly, it does not surprise me. You seem to like just about anything DC-related... Not trying to insult or anything, just stating an observation.
It's all about maximizing profits than making a good product. That's why a lot of media today is mostly remakes and poorly made ideas, to get the most money for the least amount of quality.

That is true. Watching it today, doesn't have the same effect as when we were kids, but damn. Compared to this, it was oscar worthy. Especially the Phantasm movie. That was, and is, legit!
different art style. animation quality is fine. you got a goku avatar so i assume you've checked out dragon ball super. now THAT is an example of cheap crap animation.
Yeah, I watched a few clips on Youtube. Threw up and went on with my life, but hey, nice try to switch the argument on my face, even though it did nothing.
Either way, Dragon Ball Super looks like The Iron Giant compared to this 8 year old pandering piece of shit.

So was TAS. Sandman´s Death was forbidden due to the name alone and the Joker was only allowed to kill after the network shift for the "new look".
Looks fun.

After thinking about this more, Mark Hamill's performance in this is so reminiscent of BTAS. I don't know what it was, his Arkham-takes were so low-toned, not as many hyena cackles... a different Joker
It´s basically The Brave and the Bold, but with the trinity and not just Batman as a possible lead, and a more "modern" look. Gonna be gr8t but Chronos sounded like shit.
Who else spotted the reference to the NES Ninja Gaiden intro in the Toyman ep.?

Dear DC, start advertising your shows and state when the air. You had 3 great show and 1 toon block fall apart in the last 3 years. Learn from that!
PS: Give TT GO! a proper schedule too. It can´t be that hard, especially with 11 min eps. At least it survived.
CN is the one that's supposed to advertise this show, not DC.
It's not as bad as I thought it would be but it still won't be as good as the previous Justice League cartoon.
When I first heard about this, I was not sure of how it would be animation wise. The character designs, in the top picture, were when first displayed, I wasn't too impressed (though I did think it was an interesting take for Wonder Woman).
Seeing the animation clips today, it's not making me feel very excited or intrigued for the show overall. The Joker clip when he was talking to Mongol (at 0:08-0:11) felt very off. His actions, or even his facial expressions, didn't match up with dialogue before he said "shake on it" (that felt right, but the rest, no).
The rest felt less action packed and thrilling - which I always come to expect for most DC animated shows.
I can't see this last as long as Teen Titans Go, which is quite sad. At the same time, I think they could've done a better job in creating a better show if they wanted something Justice League related.
Batman's ears on the cowl look stupid.
Love mark Hamill but he is starting sound old
