Suicide Squad: The Album Collector's Edition features the best song from the movie

Hot off the news that Suicide Squad: The Album sold over 500,000 copies and was verified Gold, Atlantic Records has released a Collector's Edition of the album. Best of all, it's available on iTunes today!

The Collector's Edition features three new songs: "Super Freaks" by Rick James, "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum and "I’d Rather Go Blind" by Etta James. Plus, it features a twist on what I consider the best song in the movie!

The full version of "Gangsta" by Kehlani is on the original album, but the Collector's Edition features the exact music from the movie. The song is played during The Joker and Harley's chemical wedding, as some fans refer to it, and it just fits that scene perfectly.

It's awesome to get to hear some of the score mixed in with the song. Take a listen below!

I've been waiting for this since I saw the movie. Is an amazing bit of scoring. Ashame it wasn't on Price's album.

TROLLS BE LIKE: No No NO! that's not an Album that's just a collection of songs that covered popular songs. NO NO NO.. SS is a mess nobody liked it ! it made 714 million and everyone regrets it. Ben Affleck is leaving the DCU after the batmn movie. Superman is meaningless.. Ironman is better. . GO AVENGERS!

      No, it's only a 3 month wait before movies hit Digital HD/DVD/Blu-ray. It'll be available in November, just in time for Christmas!

      ah that's good yeah before it was like 6 months they seem to be cutting it down wouldn't surprise me if we got to the point where it's a month after a movie maybe even sooner

      Jurassic Park took like 3 years to come to VHS "home video" digital technology allows them to pump the movies out. We sure loose a lot of the quality though, with the rushed productions and cheap digital fx. Jurassic Park looks 100 times better than Jurassic World and the story and characters are so much more rich.

      Yes, that's how all big studio movies are released now. Digital HD first, then Blu-ray/DVD a couple weeks later.

      will they release the complete cut? even tought the audiences liked more and reacted better to a "lighter, fun" movie, with it doing well at the box office they have no excuse

      Probably not. Director David Ayer has stood by the theatrical cut. Whereas Zack Snyder was vocal that he had a different 3 hours cut before BvS came out.

      Sweet! So you think there will be no UC this time eh!? I don't know, they have the extra Joker footage, the fans want it. If we don't get it, I kind of think it means WB and the DC heads didn't like the direction they took the character? I know it's been a huge success, but if they want that BVS DVD money they'll have to give us something extra right. Really looking forward to seeing what happens!

Too bad it's not on the actual album. They're notorious about not lending their songs out, that's why the Iron Man 2 soundtrack was such a big deal.

Hated that and the "pleased to meet you" by the stones. Hate both those bands so much. It really set the tone early. The tone being, the studio turned a dark movie about villains into a fluffy marvel fest. :( Ain't Mo Mercy!!!! Got that purple lambo lurkin! #morejokerleto
