What if Ben Affleck's new movie 'The Accountant' was about Batman? (video)

Last week the first trailer for Ben Affleck's new movie, The Accountant, was released online. It looks like a cool action/thriller about an accountant who's actually a deadly assassin. But YouTube user "thatmattcaronguy" noticed some similarities between the dialogue in the trailer and another role that Ben Affleck is known for. Batman.

Watch the fan made trailer above that mashes up The Accountant with Batman. It's a little scary how well everything lines up, and with J.K. Simmons having a part in The Accountant too, you might think this was a trailer for the next Batman movie if you were just a casual fan!

Interested in the movie but no way will I think this was a Batman trailer! Nice effort though.

Can't wait for a solo Batman film from the Affleck/Irons combo. Best part of BvS.

For now - Suicide Squad has to tide me over on my Batfix.

It's actually well made IMO. He might have tried a little too hard, but it wasn't bad, although I prefer the original trailer.

Really needing some info/official stuff for Justice League....between waiting for BvS on Blu Ray, Suicide Squad in August, and also waiting on an official picture of the JL or really any info regarding JL, it's getting tough haha

I wanna know the stuff added to the R-rated cut of BvS. It's fucking frustrating if you have to wait 2 more months for that.

  My guess is that some of the scenes that were cut will reveal certain characters names. I thought I saw an article where Zack explained that Jimmy Olsens scene is extended with more action in the beginning. Also Jena Malones character was cut from the movie so we'we'll probably get to see what her part is. I thought that clip released of Lex Luthor being found in the Kryptonian ship was odd. The clip itself was awesome but the timing of its release was odd. That will probably be in the extended version as well.

    Why the fuck couldn't he say what her part is, i'm waiting 2 fucking years for that, Jena is a great actress, not just some extra in BvS.

      Well i can't believe that her role is insignificant, why would Snyder hire her then as she already played in Sucker Punch as a real kick ass girl in the action scenes, doesn't make sense.

      Well you could've spotted her in the Knightmare scene, it was really brief.
      When all hell breaks out there is a girl with blonde hair lying on the ground Batman helps her out before being dragged by the soldiers.

      Blonde hair but she's redheaded so it might not be plain to see what her haircolour is but if she's blonde then she can't be Babs.

  The whole setup for BvS was one big mess and although Jena was cast as Barbara Gordon, let us pray that her role won't end here.
