El Mayimbe, formerly of Latino Review, announced last week that he's launching his own website called Heroic Hollywood. While the site is being built, El Mayimbe took to Instagram to share some more promo art from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Man Guest is resorting to some of the most overdone tricks in the book. Can't even come up with anything new to troll DC with

This wouldn't be the first time a Marveltard embraced the MCU's knack for being unoriginal and insipid.

I hope he keeps trying to attack Man of Steel by saying there are a ton of civilian deaths even though the Avengers do the same thing in every movie.

Oh my gawd dude! The destruction porn in AoU!! I couldn't stop fapping!!! Ahhh

I love how the Ultron bots never attacked the civilians even though the goal was to end humanity and when they did they missed horribly. I like to say that they have worse aim than stormtroopers.

Just like the Destroyer was to destroy everything but ignored all the humans and focused on cars and 7-11

AOU shows how MOS affected Marvel. Critics bitched on Superman causing too much damage and not saving everybody (he did save everybody and Zod and the army did 97% of the damage) so they showed them evacuate the citizens. So DC has a profound affect on a lot of things but Guest is too dumb to see that
4 likes

But even if they didn't it wouldn't matter. They would come back to life in the other movies
1 like
Right, and not one person died in AoU, that just wouldn't happen! Hulk and Iron Man can fight and destroy so much shit and destroy cars with people in them, but no one dies because Joss Whedon is the risen Christ. P.S. Not a soul was lost in that purposeless "lifting up a city" bullshit, either. My favorite parts of AoU were when they blatantly wasted time advertising other movies. The fact that even critics who liked it didn't like it for the most part is pretty telling... But I won't talk much more about it, it left no taste in my mouth. It was a movie not even deserving of being called a movie. But then again, that's Disney and the MCU for you.

I love when I'm called "mad" by someone, and then the argument that's given in response to my statement is something I would liken to a belligerent child's retort. Guest wouldn't do that, of course. He's a mature intellectual with sophisticated taste I am sure, in spite of his anti-intellectual dismissal of MOS and its subtle philosophical depth (again, please look up "Man of Steel thesis" on YouTube) and support of Avengers, shawarma, and Joss Whedon's boner for Scarlett Johansson.

Well I agree about everything you said but Scarlett Johansson is so fucking sexy

I still want to see Ving Rhames, but I'd probably be cool with whoever WB/DC goes for at this point, as all the casting has been intriguing to say the least.
This is definetly going to be product art.
I love how the MCU villains are all jokes (except Kingpin). So freakin glad Doom is far away from the MCU's hands. Magneto>every MCU villain to date

I love how they made Utlron just as much as a joke as the Avengers were. Didn't you love that?

Me too, he was looking awesome in the trailers, I was like "Finally, a fearsome villain". And knowing how threatening is Ultron is in the comics, I had high hopes....At the I was just disappointed, another wasted villain. My problem with the MCU, is that they simplified the villains which are awesome and interesting in the comics. Imagine what they could turn Dr. Doom into.

I'm so glad the MCU is no where near favorite villain. None shall stand before Doom! None!

Yes but Doom isn't anything like Loki or Bucky. He's a very nasty, dark villain. I do NOT want to see him cracking jokes

Loki's good, but he's not great. Sorely underdeveloped and had next to no obvious motivations in Avengers and then the big thread from Thanos to kill him and whatnot if he failed just collapsed.
TWS was my favourite mcu movie, but i dont get the hype for tws. He wasn't even the main villain, and barely said anything. How was he an awesome villain?

Yes but he wasn't the best villain either compared to some of the other mcu villains. Sure, he had an epic fight with cap, but a villain isn't always about action. Solomon Grundy is all about action, doesn't mean he is a compelling villain.

That's always a difficult question for me because I have to separate the category into "villains" and "antagonists."
To me, there's a difference between a straight up villain and an antagonist. A straight up villain wants death, destruction, chaos, and absolute control while an antagonist strive towards a specific goal that is actually understood but not necessarily "right."
...If that makes any sense.

Hit the nail on the head. The DCCU blows the television stuff out of the water. Just watch Man of Steel and see if anything that Arrow or Flash has done can even compete.

And BVS: DOJ trailer over Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow but it's not fair to compare them because the movies are obviously going to have more resources and therefore will always be better
1 like
True, but I feel that people saying the DCTV is already better than the DCCU are fooling themselves. The cinematic universe will be epic and push boundaries while the DCTV will always be held back.

Seriously guys, Doom is what Batman would be if he were a villain. Imagine someone so intelligent, so cunning, has access to both Magick and Science!! Doom is the antithesis of Batman. So incredibly intelligent

Nope DC 52 universes have bad Batmans and they are nothing like him!!!!

Luther is better than Doom, way more cunning, smart, diabolical, sinister.

I can't tell if you're serious or not but NO. DOOM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Luthor. Deal with it. Doom's intellect absolutely eclipses Luthor's
0 likes
Doom has stomped Galactus twice and became omnipresent and achieved Godlike power at least 9 times. Luthor only achieved it once....and lost it because of his hate for Superman. Doom is master of both Science and Magick, Luthor is only a master of Sciene and his Science/Tech is inferior to Dooms. Luthor has the recourses and money of an entire corporation, Doom has the recourses and money of an entire country. Doom has natural telepathic imunity due to will power. Doom is so cunning, he was able to steal the Beyonder's power while he was ripping Doom apart, and Doom became the most powerful being in the entire Marvel Universe. Doom would show Luthor what true intelligence is.

As a feminist, the slapping is fine because it fits the characters and I expect the plot to deal with the Harley/Joker abuse story well. Peeing on her would be overkill though, if they go with overkill it'd need to be more like cartoon violence.

In other news WB have told off Eh Maybe and he's whining like a four year old as if his "big scoops" which he advertised as leaks weren't really leaks after all and they're being unreasonable. I'm sorry, my dislike for him grows daily.
He replies to people on Twitter and I really feel like we should call him out on this crap. As well as his use of bloody "fanboys" as a self nickname, hint Umberto, not a good thing.

Where can I read his whining? I'd love to see it.

What annoys me the most is that he complains when people remove his logo. Sure he probably payed money for what he's putting his logo on, but everyone on the internet has the same right to edit the photo the way they want.
Exactly. As you said- they're. not. his. Fine if he watermarks them, but he can't complain about people bloody cropping the images so they look better without that dodgy watermark.

And he actually thinks he's credible. Marti's there and I just sent him this but he loses any faith I had in him by the second. https://twitter.com/darthta...

URGH yes he thinks he's like the ultimate 'journalist' with the executive omnipotent opinions on the film industry like about Warner Bros and Marvel.

Ugh, he's just the worst. I wish we could stop his leaks from spreading, get rid of his supply & demand. I'd rather not get this stuff from someone who's such a turd. I can live without seeing these leaks as exciting as they can be.
It's him and that guy from Badass Digest, I just don't like them. They act like they were intimately involved in the production of BvS and KNOW everything about the movie and script. Every now and again they "leak" a few little details for us mere mortals to argue over!
Like someone said below they act like they're the big shots in this industry when they've got names like 'Badass Digest' for companies and expect to be reputable.
Yeah it is really annoying, I mean the leaks are fun at the time, but in the long run they are detrimental to the film. I'm really suprised though that a lot of BvS is still under wraps.
I agree, but I will laugh very hard when his "leaks" are all disproven in the final product.
I find it amusing the guy's attempting to build a reputable site and name but continues to spout crap that will definitely come back to haunt him next year when the three bigs he's reporting on- Squad, BvS, Civil War- are all entirely different from his "scoops" from his "sources."

And the irritating part is that most of those "big scoops" are nothing more than lucky guesses (and sometimes not so lucky!). He acts as if he's breaking news, when in reality he's just making stuff up. If I was WB, I'd be angry too!
I'm already mad at him, I have a feeling I'll rage when I see his "scoop" on WB.

Hey given I'm in this video I can share it and stay relevant but seriously Tom Cavanagh has been waiting over a year for this scene and he bloody kills it. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

I think there's a lot more time travel involved than we know.

In the comics, didn't Iris get murdered by Zoom then after murdering Zoom and going to trial; Barry travels to the future to find Iris wasn't killed but brought to the future so they stay and live there?

Probably not exactly, but maybe they're going for a form of it. That'd be a massive status-quo change if they even start to feel things are getting stale and need a big change.

The Flash can live for very long time, much more than a normal human because of the speed force he ages much more slowly
0 likes
Special and General Relativity states that persons who move with relativistic speeds will alter more slowly indeed especially in a gravitational field and length will contract in the direction of motion, so Barry should be near flat at those speeds.
I think tha tyou don't have understand all the abilities of the speed force, the speed force in not just speed this is a source by itself in another parallel universe full of pure energy.

Maybe but Relativity Theory still holds for Barry, speed force or not.

No The Speed Force transcends the laws of physics and relativity in the comics.

ah okay then don't worry about scientific fact in the comics everything is false you doesn't even need to compare with real life and good luck for your studies and who knows maybe one day you will be a Nobel Price Winner in physics.
Thanks but that won't happen and of course i know it's fiction but it just interests me what this theory is about speed force. In real life fictitious forces (pseudo forces) exist and you and me have to deal with it every day.
Don't say that that's won't happen, who knows and you have riight there is some force in nature that we don't understand.
Yeah maybe in the future new forces will be discovered according to Newton's definition who introduced classical mechanics and calculus. Do you like physics?
Yes i like the sciences(Phsyisic/chemistry/astro-physics) and the things from Space.
Yes, they're all very interesting and you should know that Chemistry is mainly based on one of the fundamental forces of nature namely Electromagnetism. Physics is the underlying field for Chemistry, Astrophysics and Biology but there's still a problem why there are so many complex chemical reactions taking place which cannot be explained by Physics. They're looking for a general kind of formula that explains all anomalies that happen in nature.
Yes but in the future we will perhaps having some answers because the knowledge and the technologies develop and progress faster and faster.
Yes, maybe some day we will discover with all our modern technologies why nature works this way. Today's Physics describes nature in a most profound way with the help of Mathematics, the two are interconnected with each other and one cannot without the other. Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Field Theory are the basis of everything from nature today and if we understand it more then in the future we can make a direct connection to (Bio)Chemistry and Biology. Galilei, Newton, Maxwell and Einstein are among the greatest scientists in history because they made giant leaps in science.

Four hors ago, maybe I can still answer you properly before anyone else did haha.
See, originally in comics Tawne was a fan of the Flash, specially Barry Allen, to the point where he replicated the accident and got himself powers. When he met the Flash, after travelling to the past, (I'm not certain if it was Barry or Wally in the first time), he actually displayed a bad behaviour using his powers, and the Flash had to take down this wanabee guy.
When he returns to the future, he visits the Flash Museum and discovers that a villain listed in time only as 'Reverse Flash' was actually an older version of himself. This revelation kind of messes with his head, because not only he felt rejected by his hero, but Flash (Barry) actually is forced to kill the Reverse Flash.
Scared, he decided to do everything in his power to be the one to suckerpunch the Flash first, and this became enormous, as he was responsible for many bad things happening to Barry Allen from ever since he was a kid, but only if that didn't change the fact that he became the Reverse Flash, for it would be a paradox, that's why, in the comics, instead of killing Barry as a kid, he's forced to kill his mom instead.
Flash and Zoom had a long time to hate eachother on their whole lives after the first meeting, so he really, really, really hates Barry.
Anyway, the Show seem to be going a bit different and made it seem like he would have stolen Gideon from Barry in his timeline, but I think it's unlikelly; He probably got it when he travelled the past or even stole it from the Flash Museum in his own timeline.
