It's time to stop speculating as to whether Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor will be bald in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He did a great job putting a towel over his bald head when he walked around the set, and a poor job covering his bald head with a hat as he walked through an airport last November. But now we know that Eisenberg's Lex Luthor will be totally bald at some point in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The last piece of evidence comes via a behind-the-scenes photo of his new movie Now You See Me 2, courtesy of Fandango. Eisenberg can be spotted with the rest of his cast sporting a very short hairstyle. The kind of hairstyle you'd have a couple of months after shaving your head.

Last June Batman News exclusively reported that at some point in the movie Eisenberg's Luthor will have dirty blonde, loose, wavy hair... which means he won't be bald for the entire movie. Whether that hairstyle is supposed to be a wig, or if we'll see Luthor lose his luscious locks, remains to be seen.

So there you have it. Mystery solved! If this seems like a silly post, that's because it is. But any time I post something about Jesse Eisenberg's hair, traffic goes way up. You guys love it! Feel free to leave your own thoughts in the comments below.

    Yeah well Rosenbaum (best incarnation yet) rocked the baldness. Spacey (worst incarnation of Luthor ever) wore those stupid wigs. Luthor should not be insecure about being bald, as Spacey's Luthor was. Luthor should be insecure about nothing.

      Well, I take umbrage with you saying Spacey was the worst Luthor ever, but that's your opinion so whatever. However, Spacey barely wore the wigs. They only existed in the film to tie it to the Donner movie which had Luthor wearing wigs because Gene Hackman refused to shave his head. So yeah, that was just a retarded thing to say and you should really rethink your life decisions. For the record, the worst Lex Luthor was James Scott Wells, though you probably have no idea who that is.

i like the way how they are approaching the hair part of Lex Luthor, that is not bald from the very beginning but becomes bald or he himself shaves it due to some reasons, would be really interesting to know why he became bald

Well it looks like Zack and Terrio are using Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, Superman Birthright, Superman Secret Origins and All star Superman as an inspiration for both the plot and for characters like Lex Luthor and Superman, so based on that knowledge i don't think Lex will ever don a mechanized battle armor of any kind, because the major trait of Lex in those stories has always been having other's hand at the gun and not his own.
And even Kryptonite is confirmed to be a natural kryptonian mineral, so i don't think it will be a by product of terra forming or Luthor's synthesis.

Great theory. I wouldn't doubt if this is exactly what happens.
It will be cool to see Luthor go through the physical transformation of losing his hair as a visual example of how living in a world with Superman causes him to lose his mind and his soul.
With Zack Snyder behind the camera, you know there's going to be a lot of symbolism and iconography attached to Luthor losing his hair (most likely in super slow-mo). He'll probably treat Luthor losing his hair like a twisted reverse-take on the Samson myth.

  Nah, he's totally bald in BVS. That level of hair growth in this photo completely coincides with BVS's filming schedule. Unless of course this photo is a complex hoax perpetrated by Michael Caine to fuck with us all because he still wants to be Alfred.

        Lol yea one thing we can both agree on is Batman and Doom are both badasses. But I will have to give it to Doom in the prep department. I do respect Bats but Doom just simply eclipses Bruce in intellect and prep.
        With Prep he was able to beat Galactus twice, steal his power and hack his tech then beat the Beyonder by stealing his power but it would be too powerful for him as he was "incomplete". Later it was found that if he was to ever steal the Beyonder's power again he would be the most powerful being in the Multiverse.
        He has conquered USA, 616 earth multiple times, Counter-Earth, a planet in microverse & limbo.
        Dr Doom force fields helped him survive Beyonder, Galactus, Celestials, Infinity Gauntlet power .
        His armor helped him survive a beating from Hulk , a atomic grendade & being punched around limbo by Captain Britain. His armor is also immune to time manipulation. His armor emits 500,000 MV of energy. His armor can redirect Magneto's power against him by reversing the electromagnetic field in a near proximity
        Doom banished Strange's soul & banished Morgan le Fay. He can control elements, can summon legions & mindless ones. He spent million years in learning new black arts during Marquis storyline.
        By sheer willpower he resisted Beyonder, Purple Man, High Evolutionary & Molecule Man (Godlike beings) . Cube beings once revealed the reason he couldn't hold Beyonder's power was because he was incomplete, but if given a second chance, he would retain them. His willpower also kept him alive while being torn apart at the dawn of time.

    LOL I think this is a fan art. But Doom is a monster with Prep. Hell, from what I've seen Doom exceeds Batman and even Thanos. The only 2 that exceed Doom are Reed Richards and John Constantine. Lucifer Morningstar is also a beast with prep and I would place him as my number 1 but he is kind of omnipotent lol But Yea Doom is on a different level in prep mastery

      I have 3 theories. 1. would be that is a Doom bot (Doom has an army of exact replicas that not only look exactly like him but act exactly like him. He often uses these robots in his contingency planes making him one of the hardest bastards to kill. You may think you've killed Doom but he's actually 2 steps ahead of you)
      2. Would be his future self (Doom is a master of time travel and he has a time machine built into his suit. An example would be, because Doom is the ruler of the country Latveria which is on the boarder of Transylvania. Doom had anticipated that he and Dracula would be at War sooner or later, so what he did was, he traveled although way back to Christian times and literally carved the wood from the cross Jesus was crucified on into a stake. This is said to be the only weapon that can permanently kill Dracula. One of the countless examples of Doom's prep)
      And my 3rd theory (And most likely) is that this is The Marquis of Death (basically Doom's former Master, his Empire Pal Patine if you will). Dr. Doom was sent back hundreds of millions of years in the past by the Marquis of Death (an insanely powerful guy, has destroyed countless entire universes). At the same time, his blood was turned to acid, and his heart to stone; then, he was eaten by a megalodon. Yet Doom still survived through his hate alone, and literally rebuilt his body, molecule by molecule. Then he waited, and posed as the Marquis of Death's assistant for millions of years & also learned new Dark Magick during that million year time, making him one of the greatest sorcerers in the Marvel Universe. Then, at the right moment, he took his revenge and killed the Marquis of Death. He also had enough power to massacre a Watcher (ridiculously powerful alien).

        Actually most of those pictures are drawn by my all time favorite comic book artist. His name is Gabriele Dell'otto. He's an Italian painter who mostly does cover work but has on occasion done the interior art. You should Google his work. He has done a few Batman paintings as well as plenty of Spiderman, Wolverine and Daredevil. Those Hellboy painting I should you the other day were by Dell'otto as well. Go check him out. And yes you're right, Doom has just recently acquired The Infinity Gauntlet. He hasn't used it yet (perhaps he is waiting, planning for the right moment) but I fear the day he does.

        That's only a rumor right now. The reason why is Marvel has been advertising "In May Time Runs Out!" suggesting they may reboot or do something similar along the lines of The New 52. But as it stands Doom still has the Infinity Gauntlet
