By now you've had a good look at the new Batmobile from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Whether it be from the leaked set photos, or the super high resolution photo that Zack Snyder shared on Twitter last night. Christian Bale's Tumbler had a good run, but has it finally met its match?

      The Tumbler was cool in its own way, but it was as much a Batmobile as the tank thing that Batman drove in Miller's Dark Knight Returns.

      The Snyder-mobile looks a lot more grounded than the jump-across-gaps Tumbler.

      Batfleck's has guns, how is it any less of an assault vehicle? Its basically a skinnier tumbler with guns on it.

    I haven't seen enough of the Snydermobile to render a fully informed opinion so I'll stick with the Tumbler for now, if only because it not only spits out a pretty cool Batpod but clearly inspired the new design.

    As far as looks go, I like them both. I'd be happy to park both in my Batcave.

      Exactly, the new batmobile would have never looked that way without the tumbler. The same goes for the arkham knight batmobile. It left a huge mark that will be remembered in future designs

    Honestly, they're not my favorite Batman movies but I liked the Batmobile from the Burton films the most. Sleek, unique, and iconic. Of these two, I might have gone with the Batfleckmobile, as it's a nice cross between the older films and the Tumbler... until they showed the giant machine gun on the hood.

    I'm sure I'm in the minority in feeling this way, but the more they take from The Dark Knight Returns the less thrilled I become.

      FYI, I also don't like Dark Knight Returns that much. Never understood it's considered one of the greatest Batman comic ever. So I'm with you here. I'd have preferred a batman from like year 2 or 3 (if you see what I mean) than an old and semi-retired one like in TDKR. But we'll see.

      how are they going with TDKR with this really though? This batmobile looks nothing like the one from TDKR. That shit was a gigantic tank. This one looks moreso like the Arkham Knight one, which also has a machine gun, albeit its hidden when its not in use and is in a different spot

        Can we agree both of these cars look like tanks? Why are we arguing. This isn't the car from Batman Forever. This thing looks like a tumbler has a few bells and whistles that a billionaire playboy would add to a military designed vehicle. I liked both. This one will definitely be accepted because of how the tumbler broke the ice.

      What looks like a Batmobile? There have been so many iterations. The tumbler is just as much a batmobile as the Burton Batmobile, the BvS Batmobile, the Arkham Knight Batmobile (something that's even more tank-like than the tumbler) the Adam West Batmobile etc.

    I always loved the Tumbler because it was a god damn tank! I always felt like it was barely used though. But the new Batmobile just screams classic and militaristic, both of which work beautifully. It looks like the Arkham Knight's Batmobile too which is one of the highlights in that game for me. It's just a beauty.

    it's a little difficult to decide, I love the look of the new one though. But I want to see it in action too.i t's always been hard for me to call The Tumbler a Batmobile since it never looked like one to me, it just looked like a big 'Ol Tank. (lol Big 'Ol)

    I was never a fan of the Tumbler but I KNEW its place and purpose in that world. The Tumbler had to be a tank. This new Batmobile is the dream. It has hints of Tumbler and the Burton Batmobile which I loved.

    Loved the tumbler's aggressiveness and coolness, but the new one has a sleeker, more racing/aerodynamic vibe that jives more with what I see in comics, and I like that. I loved the Nolan films, but I honestly long to see Batman movies that embrace the comic roots a bit more. The new one sits more in the middle than all of the way on the comic side, but I still like it a lot.

    Between the two listed, Zack Snyder's Batmobile looks like it'll fit the darker tone of Frank Miller's version of Batman in BvS as well as the goofier designs that were in tune with Tim Burton's view. The top up looks like a bat wing's flapping. Nolan's Batmobile was clean cut though, which I never thought fit Batman's gritty dark image. But can Synder's Batmobile turn into a bike? I take the Tumbler because of the transformation alone.

    Aesthetically? Affleck's looks better in my honest opinion. Still too early to say which is definitively better since we have yet to see what this new batmobile is even capable of in terms of performance and whatnot, though...

          We're comparing batmobile designs... it's not some major moral debate or whatever. So no, nobody is wrong in their choice on this one since there isn't a right or wrong answer. I've read plenty of people who like both but just like the looks of the new batmobile more -- much like myself. I still loved the tumbler, but I like this one's overall design more.

      Although I agree that the Tumbler is better (so far just based on looks because there's nothing else currently to compare), I don't think dissenting opinions make any of your alternatives valid.

      I actually take more umbrage with people claiming this version is more like the source material then the Tumbler or the other movie version. What's that based on?

        I have no idea. It certainly doesn't look any more "Bat" than the Tumbler did. It's longer? Is that it? There's no fins or Bat-logos or any of the other typical Batmobile tropes. But it's a tad bit longer.

    In my honest opinion, I could never take the Tumbler seriously. Anytime it was on screen in the Nolan movies, I'd start laughing. It just looked like an obese turd to me. It didn't look like something an agile and quick-to-disappear Batman would use. Ben Affleck's Batmobile rains supreme in my eyes.

        as of now the poll is related with the visuals and aesthetics of the vehicle, and may be we will get another poll after the movie, for the batmobile's functionality, but either it's plain logic that this batmobile will be way more advanced in every way than tumbler, right from automobile engines and hardware, to weaponry and other technology, because in this new DCCU there are super powered beings, so i guess this batman needs everything from his side, to side among the gods.

    If I'm going solely by visuals, I like the design of the Affleck batmobile over the Bale batmobile. However, now that I read my comment out loud, I can't really give my full opinion because I haven't seen the new batmobile in action.
