   So pumped for Gotham. From what I'm seeing with all the promos and interviews, it should turn out to be something special.

   Yeah this should be a really good show. But ill always a little bit be wanting to see bats when i watch it, hopefully it will run for like years and we will see him become batman!

   "Things Donal Logue Says that Harvey Bullock Would Never Say" should be a thing. There was one interview where he talked about Gotham's Jungian underbelly or something like that. Obviously a highly educated man who is devoted to his craft.

   I, too am greatly anticipating Gotham; However,I think it should be more like "the Untouchables" with Robert Stack...we all know Bruce witnessing his parents' murder while only 8 to 12 yrs old is what spurs his lifelong obsessive/ compulsive, very warped & uncompromising sense of justice & morality however, I fear the premise of showing the classic villains as schoolchildren or young adults will likely be as poorly-received as Lucas' showing baby Vader pod racing on Tatooine and later as moody, whiny adolescent with a crush on an older ( albeit rather hot) Senator from Naboo.

   I feel the show should focus on Gordon & GCPD's war against Falcone, Maroni and associates. in other words, most of us Know that Selina Kyle was a child prostitute and thief, But is that a topic that network TV would really explore beyond an episode or two of "SVU?" Realistically, even the murders of Thomas & Martha Wayne by a common street thug (while tragic. ) would be a backburner, second-tier case to to GCPD's war against organized crime. It only deserves mention because the murder of one of the world's richest and most influential billionaire philanthropists would be a political hot potato, and therefore, a top story on their version of CNN. for days, if not weeks.... other than Selina Kyle, only Thomas Elliot (aka, Hush's) childhood is worth exploring considering he murdered his parents as a schoolboy for his inheritance, yet many fans exclusively of the films especially have no idea who he is...okay, I'll shut up now

      I think the issue there is that they're establishing that the GCPD, Gordon aside, is the farthest thing from The Untouchables. It would be hard for Gordon as an entry-level detective to wage a one-man war on organized crime when everyone around him is running interference for the Mob. So, the mob war and the rise of the Penguin becomes the center of the story while Gordon watches and nibbles around the edges by working on the Wayne murder.

   i'd like to get the Joker back in the comics rather than in the tv show (where he doesn't belong since he should be all of about ten years old here). hopefully this focuses on Gordon and the corruption in Gotham. fingers crossed!

         How do you think they will address and show what Batman has been up to over the last 20 or so years? Surely he's had run-ins with the more notorious villains we all know....

            Missed opportunity? It makes no sense to put Gordon in Gotham 20 YEARS prior to when he was supposed to show up... Not to mention he looks nothing like Gordon.

   Just saw some new leaked info from the Dawn of Justice set. Apparently an extra has heard about some of the things Bruce is trying to do in the movie. Maybe Chris will post it here in a little while. Its freaking awesome if true.

    I hope they don't tell an origin story for the Joker. That was one of the things I absolutely hated about the Tim Burton Batman movies. You cannot give that kind of evil a face and try to rationalize it. It sort of reminds me of the Maleficent movie that Disney made. It insulted that character to me as it transformed a sadistic evil being who called upon the powers of hell to turn into a dragon and dubbed herself the Mistress of all Evil into a sympathetic misunderstood character, which is way I believe the 1959 animated movie is far superior as she is similar to the Joker in a sense as she did all of the bad things in that movie just because....she was bad. The Joker just IS evil. It's wrong to think like that but it's interesting to think that there are people in the world who will just do horrific things just because they have the capability to do them, and that sounds a lot like the Joker. I would have preferred to keep him out the series entirely but if he does appear (which he probably will) I would like to see the New 52 version of him in his beginnings as he infiltrated the Red Hood Gang and became number 1 in the organization. I absolutely loved that incarnation in Zero Year.
