Yesterday we got our first look at Ben McKenzie as James Gordon and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, and today the first photo of Donal Logue as Det. Harvey Bullock from the set of Gotham has been released.
Harvey Bullock is the rough-around-the-edges partner of James Gordon. He plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results... and he does it with old-school, forceful panache.

Wasn't Flass just a sort of replacement for Bullock? The way Ramirez replaced the Montoya girl?
In the continuity, Flass came first. He was assigned to be Gordon's partner when Gordon was first transferred to Gotham from Chicago under suspicious circumstances. Bullock was never Gordon's partner, but rather a detective that worked under Gordon after he became commissioner.
Getting a real Tim Burton vibe ... which im coool with
How? Ben McKenzie's Gordon looks nothing like Pat Hingle's. Robin Lord Taylors Penguin looks nothing like Danny Devito's. It's a real city whereas Burton's movies are full soundstage.
The wardrobe and set are very similar to the atmosphere in Tim Burton's movies... One of the taxi's in another photo is straight up a 1930's cab and both the penguin and bullocks costumes are really just toned down versions of what Tim Burton did.
Also these guys are supposed to look younger, I could believe that the penguin and Bullock age into Burtons characters. (Maybe not Gordon, but lets be real Tim Burton really dropped the ball on Gordon in his movies)
I guess he is going to grow a mustache through out the series, like when people are asking why he isnt shaving it.
Gordon would anwser: Because i dont have time shaving in it and the wife likes it.

Mckenzie's like whaaaaa?
I have a feeling Gordon's myopia will probably be blamed for some of his failures during the course of the series. We might see it as early as the pilot where he is slowly having trouble adjusting (ie. headaches, squinting, etc).
Logue looks like he just walked off the set of BARNEY MILLER, while McKenzie looks like he's thinking, "wait... this isn't the GLEE set".
I like! With the right writing we may have something special here!
