Rock gets by on his personality and he'd be fine in a minor hero role like Cyborg. But I hate all these suggestions about major characters like Darkseid. I want somebody with some friggin gravitas in that role.
And while he LOOKS perfect for Black Adam, I've also seen him in The Scorpion King, so I'm not sold on that either.

2014 begins, and nothing changes: nerds complain about The Rock doing a role what nobody knows what is is, and what movie for. And my bet its Lobo, fits with the "low budget, R rated" motto what WB/DC should start in 2014. If he enters in MOS 2, i have no idea who he can be.

Let's not forget that the Lobo movie Rock had been trying to get made was with his buddy who directs those Journey movies and it was supposed to be in that same vein. A PG-13 family friendly comedy where Lobo was partnered with a teenage girl. I hope it's not Lobo with all my heart.

  With the (possible) plans for low-budget movies, maybe Lobo get back on track in a R-Rated version, who knows. But i was thinking: if we literally get the Batman t-shirt as a clue, maybe the Mutant Leader. But if (as like to happen) we got 2 Superman villains, maybe Magog?

    They can do Lobo in a team DC film first as a villain before they make his own movie so that they can see if he has more success as a character. If he has more success they can do higher budget with Lobo. They have to do great writing with his stories. I don't think Rock's family movies have done that well. What if they got some of the guys behind Fast and Furious to help make a Lobo movie? That with a blend of the people that made Green Lantern and a director/writer like Michael Bay. Instead of making Lobo into a hero at first he has some hero qualities but he's a bad person doing bad things which cannot be mistaken. They can give him a serious dark grim nature but he also has a lighter side. He's also had to have good qualities when growing up so they can reveal things about his childhood. He's also a genius and raided an extraterrestrial scientist for sub-space drive to attach to his space hog so that he can travel anywhere in the universe in time and space instantly though he rarely uses time travel. He can speak over 1000 languages he learned fluently and he's immortal. He must have raided a lot of extraterrestrial scientists for his pay and tried some of the stuff on himself. He's familiar with his part of the galaxy in the Milky Way which is what he mostly explores. There's reason to everything he does so let's figure him out. He's very personable so he seems very human in that way so you can relate to his character but he's also got a lot of extraterrestrial character traits though he blends it into his human like personality.

He just needs to be a hero! So awesome at kicking ass I'd hate to see him be evil, but he is talented enough to be a villain or a hero. I think he deserves a chance at any character, it's hard to be disappointed in any of his performances because you know he gives it his all! Such an intense dude. True comic book character.

My guess goes to MARTIAN MANHUNTER.

LOBO would be great too, but as a big fan of the character, i really want a R rated movie, with all the GORE, DEATH, POLITICALLY INCORRECTNESS and GRAPHIC VIOLENCE that the character deserves. That being said, of course i'll NEVER going to see anything even near of that. WB would put a fucking PG 13 film to drag teens into theaters and fill their pockets.
