Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just posted a photo of himself and Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara on Twitter. In his Tweet, The Rock promises that they'll do some "big cool things" together.

This probably has nothing to do with Batman vs. Superman, however Warner Bros. is currently casting for the big Man of Steel sequel set for July 17th, 2015. I felt it was worth mentioning just in case it becomes something bigger. If The Rock were to appear in Batman vs. Superman, what role would you like to see him in?   Yeah, because the exact same CGI artists, will be using the exact same software under the exact same direction and the exact same writing. They will litterally take the CGI from Mummy Returns and he will "play" the exact same character, doing the exact same movements no less... just.... shoved into Batman VS Superman.

    I made a harmless comment on the fact that I don't want to see the Rock's face computerized and I was vilified for it. Faith in humanity rescinded.

      Well next time use your common sense and possibly the rest of your brain before making comments. CGI has improved, the Rock has VASTLY improved his acting ability. Both factors are now different in addition to it being a completely different project under different circumstances.... and a bigger budget. Nothing you said holds any merit. Sorry, I'm not sorry.

      I would have to agree that Rock needs to do things differently based on the character he plays as. Based on his movies so far he hasn't been a very good actor and he could do a lot better. He's a big draw in movies for other reasons so he might not have to act for the part to be a big draw in bringing money to the movie. He makes a lot of money for any movie he gets into which he made a lot of money with the Fast and the Furious movies which didn't make anywhere near as much money when he didn't act in the Fast and Furious movies. But They have a good enough directing crew where they could get Rock to act for the role. I think Rock can act for the role and do a good job with it, but if he does the same typical thing he does for all of his other movies then his acting and character will suck. But even if his acting and his character portrayal sucks to which those with taste would notice, he might still be very popular and make the movies a lot of money. It would be stupid not to put Rock into the DC movies as a major character but please try with his writing, his characterization, and with his acting. Make it different than what he usually does in his acting. He might do good acting in the Fast and Furious movies, but I haven't watched the Fast and Furious movies with him in it to say so. What I have seen with him in it hasn't really stood out for a DC character or for any serious movie as far as quality goes, but as far as making money he's good at that so if you just plan to make money with him then put him in the DC movies but I'd ask you try with the other things I recommend when putting him into the movie. By putting Rock into the movies as a recurring character he could raise the amount of money made for each movie he's in by $400 million each movie so that's a couple billion dollars the movies would make if he's in a lot of them. But if fans are disappointed with his character he won't sell as he's had some duds such as Pain & Gain, and he's also been a lot of movies, some that he's starred in, that didn't do that well at all so if you don't do him right then the movies he's in won't make that much money.

      There's a lot of people that will read what I'm putting down. I'll read long comments if they're well put together and my stuff is very easy to read. You have literacy problems which means you can't read that well and you can't write that well which is why you write so short. Your punctuation is bad even though you don't write that much. You probably had to spend an hour checking the punctuation on that one line you put down. This is like a forum and on forums people will write very long messages like it's normal to do so, and they do it like it's natural. Almost all of their messages are longer, some much longer than the messages I'm putting down. I've written much longer comments than these elsewhere but I'm keeping these comments shorter so that they're easier to read.

You make him Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern John Stewart, Black Adam, Cyborg, (even if I don't think he's the first choice for some of these characters)... ANYTHING but some throw away villain, who at the most would be making cameo appearances in sequels. Uh uh, no. The Rock is on fire right now. You want to keep him. Duh.

    The ethnicities have got to fit for characterization for the roles. They've done it for superheroes where the ethnicity didn't fit and it did terrible. You've got to make the characters work and get it to where people would buy into the character. That doesn't mean they would play as stereotypes for the roles, as even people of ethnicities act white to a degree or have very different personalities. People hated the black King Pin even though the guy was massive and one of the most muscular men in the world. You've got to have writing and characterization that fit the character with a believable personality that feels strongly with the audience.

I think Dwayne as Killer Croc would be really cool. Hope they go with make-up if they ever use Killer Croc. Although I must say, I'd rather see Croc in a standalone Batman film, maybe directed by Ben himself? I think Black Mask would be a great villain too.

  Batman's already established, and I'm assuming most of his villains are as well. So if we see Gotham any perhaps we'll get a glimpse of some of his rouges gallery behind bars. Like a cameo (though I doubt that The Rock would be involved, but you never know).

  If they make Rock a major character he's going to need to be a lot stronger than Bane. Cyborg, Steel, John Stewart Green Lantern, and Lex Luthor are much stronger characters. Lex Luthor can create a super powered suit which is what makes him so powerful, and because of his great planning. I guess movie Bane was decent because of the huge fighting numbers he got, but why would prisoners follow him in setting off a nuke that would kill them off too? The Dark Knight Rises was far fetched and stupid. Without the suit Lex Luthor isn't anywhere near as strong as Bane.

Bane was the best thing for Tom Hardy's career so far. Otherwise no one ever heard of him before that. I personally think they could have chosen someone that's better for Bane. You also have Inception but I never went and saw that.

But he totally needs to be CG. basically like Mark Ruffalo did with Hulk in Avengers. But no human Doomsday. I will burn down WBs offices if they ever do this to my fav Superman villain

    I'm not a CGI fan, I'd much prefer they do a really good suit. Get like old school costumers on it. A human with some animatronic extensions. CGI to cover up some of the seams. A blend of all 3 usually works best.

      Even with Mocap you still need the acting. Rock without Mocap would be better because audiences want to see him with his look instead of with a CGI look. Unless the CGI still had his performance in mind but it might hide who he is which is what audiences want to see. With Cyborg and Mocap you would still see a lot of Rock's appearance so that wouldn't take away from him.
