Hey, fellas, this is a Batman movie! And Batman is being played by an Academy Award winner that also happens to be one of the greatest actors of his generation. Mind the amazing way his character was built throughout the previous two movies. THIS IS CHRISTIAN BALE'S MOVIE and nobody's stealin' it from him. But if I had to point out an ace in the hole, that would be Marion Cotillard. A great actress, one of my favourites.

This might seem a litte nitpicky--but it's the director in me--could they have done a better take of that "and yes mr wayne it comes in black" ?? because for some reason morgan says....bored, completely disinterested. As if he's reading the line but pissed that he has to do it (like maybe this was the 6th take and he only wanted to do 5)
Fox (and freeman in general) usual has a nice smile and a charming way about him, but in this he just seems distant and almost a little annoyed.
Wherever it is that Fox is using a computer is the same place where bane crashes into in the international tv spot.
It looks like the room in TDK where Batman uses the monitors to spy on all of gotham.

Music
is just about the last thing done for any movie. What you hear in trailers and
commercials is often not the music used in the film.
This is my speculation about Bane and his prior history and events that might take place throughout the entire story.
THIS IS PURE SPECULATION BUT MIGHT BE SPOILERISH. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK: In the children's book it says that Bane used to be a member of the League of Shadows, which was predicted early on in the Dark Knight Rises process and he wears a mask to cover up an injury in the past. What if the injury is from the League of Shadows burning down in Batman Begins, maybe that is why he is wearing the mask. Later on he is booted from the League of Shadows and he goes underground and starts building an army, an army to try to take over Gotham and prove that he's better than Ra's al Ghul, who failed to do this. Bane enters Gotham and soon finds out that Bruce Wayne is Batman and that he is the reason why he wears the mask and now he has a personal vendetta against him. Bane kidnaps him and holds him hostage and wants Bruce to suffer and watch as he burns Gotham to ashes. Batman burned down his home so Bane will do the same to him. (Ra's said something similar to Bruce in Batman Begins) and this would bring the story TOTALLY full circle. Leave a comment and add in my speculation if you wish!

Did anyone notice the missiles flying at the Bat towards the end? I wonder if that is from the fighter jets seen earlier in another TV spot. The question I now have is, are those missiles coming from a Bane controlled fighter jet or a Government controlled fighter jet going after Batman for supposedly killing Harvey Dent? Based on the other TV spots and how the cops react to the Bat it might be the Government. Since all of the cop cars are chasing the Batpod in other trailers. I would love for those planes to be controlled by Bane though.
Starting to think the cane is 1) just for show. or 2) its a lingering issue from the fall with Dent. With all that armor, you would think they could put in some knee support...

Yeah. I'm pretty sure he's injured from his fall in TDK. His injuries and the fact that everyone blames Batman for Dent's death and not putting a stop to the Joker sooner has put Batman out of the vigilante game for the 8 years that has officially been stated as elapsed between TDK and TDKR.

I don't know about all the impressions or versions of you, or who I am even replying to, but I was actually thinking the same thing about Batman (Bruce Wayne) and his cane. I say that this cane injury has nothing to do with Bane, but in fact, with the end of TDK or some injury in between then and now. I even think that Batman takes on Bane (1st time in the movie) with this injury and gets even more messed up with his encounter with Bane. Thus leading to the messed up, maybe, bearded looking Bruce Wayne everyone thinks is in a wheelchair. Guys have peace THDR will be here to make all you Batfans happy with JOY!
