7 TV spots, a 6 minute prologue, 3 trailers, and a montage on an award show....and I still have no clue how the plot will play out.

I saw that movie opening night. I think it's fair to say that no one knew what the hell it was about. Not even Ridley Scott. They took a relatively simple story and turned it on its philosophical head like 10 times.
0 likesBlame the writer, Damon Lindelof. He also wrote episodes of Lost, Cowboys & Aliens, and produced the last Star Trek movie. He seems to be one of these hack writers who thinks leaving the audience confused makes him a good writer. But he's not. He's a guy who just can't write a decent script. The black goo in Prometheus reminded me of the red matter in Star Trek. Both were plot devices whose properties changed to suit whatever the plot required. One minute red matter creates black holes. The next it acts as a tunnel through time. Same with the black goo. One minute it's disintegrating an alien so his DNA can seed the primordial soup of Earth. The next it's impregnating a sterile woman and creating an alien inside her. David's behavior was another example of bad writing. He infects Charlie, but how does he know what'll happen? How does he know that Charlie will have sex with Shaw that night? At least with Ash in the original Alien, we eventually found out why he had a hidden agenda. Here it seems to have been written in just for the sake of leaving the audience guessing.

OMG ! This movie so huge.Every time Nolan shows us great scenes and yet there's much more we haven't seen(Take Bane's Hemtt crash scene for example that we haven't seen yet)The Bat is awesome.That missile chase scene is coool!

This is my speculation about Bane and his prior history and events that might take place throughout the entire story.
THIS IS PURE SPECULATION BUT MIGHT BE SPOILERISH. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK: In the children's book it says that Bane used to be a member of the League of Shadows, which was predicted early on in the Dark Knight Rises process and he wears a mask to cover up an injury in the past. What if the injury is from the League of Shadows burning down in Batman Begins, maybe that is why he is wearing the mask. Later on he is booted from the League of Shadows and he goes underground and starts building an army, an army to try to take over Gotham and prove that he's better than Ra's al Ghul, who failed to do this. Bane enters Gotham and soon finds out that Bruce Wayne is Batman and that he is the reason why he wears the mask and now he has a personal vendetta against him. Bane kidnaps him and holds him hostage and wants Bruce to suffer and watch as he burns Gotham to ashes. Batman burned down his home so Bane will do the same to him. (Ra's said something similar to Bruce in Batman Begins) and this would bring the story TOTALLY full circle. Leave a comment and add in my speculation if you wish!

0 likesThe guy is right behind her, wore a black jacket/shirt/tux, had his arms bent, but because of the screen, you can't see his head. It's kinda hard to notice him in the first glimpse, because even I thought it was some kind of a pole or column or something.
