Rising celebrity Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has released a brand new trailer for a streaming marathon surrounding Rocksteady and WB Games Montreal's Batman Arkham series. Likely, the marathon will play through each of the Arkham video games for a live audience. However, it is unknown if this will include Arkham Shadow released last October. In the past, the streamer's popular themed marathons have covered games like Bloodborne, PlayStation's Spider-Man 2, and Elden Ring. Typically, Kai promotes his streaming events highly produced fan trailers, often with celebrity cameos. This time, Lyrical Lemonade's Cole Bennett, usually known for hip-hop music videos, is responsible for directing. Check out the promotion below!
The video promotion takes heavy inspiration from the various Arkham series games and their trailers. Not to mention, the trailer includes narration deeply inspired by the Arkham Knight's "Father To Son" announcement trailer. Although, it is not clear if the promo features the actual Roger Craig Smith. In addition, the video also contains allusions to the beginnings of Batman: Arkham, Arkham City, and the snowy battle with Deathstroke from Arkham Origins, first teased in its own official trailer. Moreover, the video features several villain cameos, with performers playing Victor Zsasz and the Joker, among CGI models of Scarecrow or Bane. Interestingly, Cenat models his costume after The Dark Knight (2008) and drives the slick Batman '89 Batmobile. Here's some behind the scenes!
While it is unclear what surprises the actual stream will feature, the streamer has teased and implied he has been working behind the scenes with "people who have done Batman" to sponsor his stream. Kai Cenat's Batman: Arkham Series Marathon will air on Kai’s Twitch channel on Friday, February 21st at 6PM ET.
