Warner Bros. Games has announced that MultiVersus will be shutting down as May 30, 2025, the final day of the upcoming season 5.

Announced via the official blog on Friday, the company said that all in-game purchases are suspended as of today, Jan. 31, 2025. You can continue to use any in-game currency, Gleamium, that you have, but you will be unable to purchase any more of it.

The game will continue to be available for download until May 30, at 9am PST from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. After that time it will be removed. However, if you have downloaded it by that date, you will still be able to play it an offline mode with all earned and purchased content. You will also be able to continue against A.I. or up to three friends in a local mode.

MultiVersus season 5 will launch on Feb. 5, 2025 and will add Aquaman and Lola Bunny to the roster of playable characters.

MultiVersus is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
