Cristin Milioti has discussed what she would like to do with Sofia Falcone should she get to play the character again.

Speaking with IndieWire, Milioti discussed her time in the role of Sofia Falcone in The Penguin, and what she would like to do given the chance. "It just seemed like there are infinite possibilities of where she could go."

She went to add, "Obviously, I would want to see her get out of Arkham. That’s like number one. I don’t want her in there. So I want to see her get out there, and then exact revenge. Maybe now she would be even more of a loose cannon, because before it was pretty focused on him and gaining power, but depending on what happens to her in there, it could be an even larger target. I would love to explore that."

There has been no word as of yet as to if and when we could see Sofia Falcone again. The Batman: Part II will be filming this year, but no mention has been made of Milioti joining the cast. And there is nothing official at the moment about a second season of The Penguin, although that is being discussed.

Dylan Clark, one of the executive producers on the series, told TV Line, "If we could come up with an idea for what a second season might be, there’s a chance that [HBO CEO] Casey Bloys and the HBO team would want to pursue that. There have been quiet conversations about that."

Showrunner Lauren LeFranc spoke with Screenrant at the awards ceremony, and said, "We were meant to be a limited series, so I'm really proud of the first season and the story that we made. There's more stories to tell there, for sure, if we can find the right idea or the right characters." She went on to add, "I'm not sure about that yet, but I'm really proud of the work that we've done."

Considering the critical and ratings hit the series was for HBO, a second season seems inevitable. With The Batman: Part II due to begin production in 2025, however, it feels as though it will be some time before Oz Cobb returns to our TV screens.
