James Gunn has announced that Peacemaker season 2 is wrapping up filming this weekend in Georgia.

Gunn took to social media on Saturday to announce that production is wrapping up on Peacemaker season 2.

And that’s a Peacemaker Season Two wrap on [John Cena] & [Jennifer Holland], who both turned in wonderful performances this season as Christopher Smith and Emilia Harcourt. To top it off, shooting yesterday was one of the most fun days of shooting I have EVER had! Thanks to the incredible people of Savannah, Georgia for making the Peacemaker crew’s stay here so special. ONE DAY LEFT!

Seeing as the majority of the cast has already wrapped, it's secondary shooting left for this "one day left" that Gunn concluded the message with.

This has been a very busy year for Gunn who has already shot Superman and multiple episodes of Peacemaker.

The returning cast will include John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos. New additions include Sol Rodriguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Tim Meadows as Langston Gleury.

Peacemaker season 2 is set to debut in the latter half of 2025.
