HBO has released a video showing off its upcoming programming for 2025, and it includes the first Peacemaker season 2 footage.
The footage is quick but shows the majority of the returning characters as well as our first glimpse of Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. Before this season debuts, we'll hear him in Creature Commandos, and he will then appear in Superman in July 2025.
As of right now, we know the season will debut sometime after Superman placing it sometime in the latter half of the year, but no specific date has been announced yet. James Gunn wrote the entire season, and will direct multiple episodes as he did on season 1.
The returning cast will include John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos. New additions include Sol Rodriguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Tim Meadows as Langston Gleury.
Peacemaker season 2 is set to debut in the latter half of 2025.
