Legendary Pictures Senior Vice President Bob Napton joined Jim Lee today to announce a sequel to their hit series Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, set to release in Summer of 2025. He was excited to talk about how much people loved the first series, and that Godzilla studio Toho was eager for more. Writer Brian Buccellato joined them to talk about plans for the series and how it will distinguish itself from the first.

The biggest twist they could talk about was that the sequel will take place in the Legendary Monsterverse. Instead of monsters coming to DC, the heroes will be taking the fight to them. It won't just be the titular Justice League crossing over to the Monsterverse, either. Villains such as Lex Luthor, the Suicide Squad, and even a giant kaiju Killer Croc will be joining them. On the monster side, Napton was able to confirm that Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra will all be joining the fray.

Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 promises to be an exciting series with giant monsters, the biggest DC characters, and plenty of action to keep fans reading.
