According to a new report, Bane and Deathstroke are being setup for a new film in the DC Universe.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that DC Studios is in development on a film that would feature both Bane and Deathstroke.
Bane's largest live-action turn came in The Dark Knight Rises. Deathstroke has had multiple iterations on television, but has only appeared on the big screen in a teaser. There were larger plans for him in Ben Affleck's Batman film that eventually morphed into Matt Reeves' The Batman.
No information is available on the specifics of the project,other than Matthew Orton (Captain America: Brave New World) is slated to write the movie.
There are certainly some questions as to what would bring these two characters together in any capacity. Neither of them are known to fight each other or work together.
No timeline for production of the project has been announced.
