Warner Bros. Entertainment has officially confirmed there was an error with the Joker's voice in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3.

If the Batman: The Animated Series version of the Joker sounded a bit off in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3, there was a reason for that: It wasn't Mark Hamill.

Speculation had been high about this since the film released, but over the weekend the mystery deepened. Discussions on Reddit indicated that digital copies of the film had been updated and the voice was changed. At the time there was no official confirmation from Warner Bros., but they have now confirmed the news.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, a temporary voice over was inadvertently left in the final version of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three, affecting the character of the Joker,” the company said in a statement to io9. “Digital versions of the film have been proactively corrected and have replaced the incorrect version of the film in users’ accounts.”
