Warner Bros. Discovery fighting game MultiVersus will be relaunching on May 28, and a new cinematic video has been shared showing off more new characters.

This video reveals that both Jason Vorhees of Friday the 13th fame and Agent Smith from The Matrix will be in the game. Jason will be available at the launch with Agent Smith coming at a future date.

Following an open Beta period, MultiVersus went offline in June 2023. Now the game is ready to officially release, and it looks as though a lot of changes are being included. From moving to Unreal Engine 5 to new locations and characters, there will be a lot to take in when the game relaunches.

The current roster of characters includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, and Black Adam (DC); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz, and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry); Finn the Human and Jake the Dog (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), LeBron James (Space Jam: A New Legacy); Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith (Rick and Morty); Gizmo and Stripe (Gremlins); and an extraordinary original creature named Reindog.

MultiVersus will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on May 28.
